Pathetic governance and infrastructure in

Howdy!
I visited India many times and especially the big metros, but what surprises me and shocks me is that despite having people with such intelligence, why is there so much poverty and misery. Why are the roads so badly designed and maintained. I dont want to condemn anyone and also being a foreiegner, i dont have any rights to do that. But folks accept it and yes the infrastructure is pathetic. I visited a few places in China, it was bad in a few places, but pretty amazing in most places. Beleive me it is not difficult to achieve a decent infrastruture. We had a few bad places in the US too. You guys are so lucky to have sucha strong educated population and you have the power to change your country. I am not here to raise your self belief, but just reminding you about what you have. I expect the next time i go to India i will have a better experience. I really Love India and hope for it's people that they have better infrastructure and better standard of living. Good luck;
