TV to match Bollywood moves
TNN | Mar 19, 2011, 12.00am ISTThe Holi shooting on the sets of Hi! Padosi...Kaun Hai Doshi? was quite eventful. The real fun was when they were shooting on the song Let's Play Holi from the Akshay Kumar-Priyanka Chopra starrer Waqt.
The actors (Sanjeeda Sheikh and Giriraj Kabra,Jayshree Soni and Alan Kapoor) had rehearsed for this number with the choreographer's help. But when the actual shoot started, it got chaotic! It was getting increasingly difficult to keep up the tempo considering the shooting was in the open and it was only getting hotter thanks to the rising temperatures in Mumbai!
That's when the crew came up with a plan... they asked for a large screen to be set up in front of the dancing couples. The actors were told to watch Priyanka and Akshay's dance and match the steps. And the plan worked! The song was shot without a single cut in 30 mins flat.
