Vishnoo, roams in the village and meets a friend with whom he hatches a plot to defraud Sarju and make some money.
In the house Ramdei, is upset on the departure of her daughter, and Laxmi is rubbing salt in her wound and tells her that daughters are better than daughters in law, and just then Radha comes in, and Laxmi is a bit wary about what she said and changes the topic
Radha asks what food to prepare, and the mother tells her to do what she likes, and Laxmi takes her leave, and offers to help in the kitchen.
Laxmi and son make some story in front of Sarju who is counting money, while son complains to his mother, that he does not have money and Sarju willingly offers to give him money and his mother blames her son,Vishnoo, and when Ramdei comes and opposes Sarju, from giving any money to Vishnoo.
Laxmi shows off by crying and then extracts some sympathy from |Sarju, to rip him off. Ramdei watches them as she knows the character of her sister in law, as Sarju embraces his aunt.
Laachi and Radha are in their room and talk what the guests try to do. Radha says her mother in law was right, but what about their father who wanted them in. Ramdei hears them and looks on and grumbles at them for not doing their cooking. Laachi tells Radha to go to the kitchen and start the work.
In the kitchen Radha is at work, and conveniently she is called to prepare milk for the child, and she leaves the kitchen, to make way for the Creatives, for Vishnoo to do his job. He takes Radha's ring which she had removed and placed next to the stove and walks off, but she catches him - Heeraman comes when Vishnoo is present in the kitchen and tells her to make chutney. Radha sees her ring is missing.
Sarju and the men of the house praise the food. Vishnoo eats, and his mother wants him to control himself. Radha wants to hide the robbery. Sarju finds his wife sad, and he asks her what is wrong, and she gives excuses, and he offers to help her. Sarju finds her ring missing, and she tells him that she removed it, and there is an altercation between them. Sarju wants to find where the ring is, and he suspects her, and wants a ansswer. They search, and Sarju is angry. She tells him her suspicion, and he asks her if Vishnoo was there, and he suspects, but Radha does not want to put the blame, and leaves the guessing game for Sarju. He wants to take it on Vishnoo and Radha wants to stop him, and he does not want to listen to her.
