ridhi mentioned that it's not the TRPs...it's the good reviews and appreciation...probably...Maryada is in the top 3 list because of its content...Which other show has such original and true to the world content???

I agree to adiiya. It is not bold show. If Maryaada can not watch with family, we cant watch any dramas with family.

I would call it a bold show because a father-in-law trying to rape his daughter-in-law is hard to digest because

In INDIA marriage is not about two people it is about two families. After marriage in INDIA a girl has to live with her husband & her husband's family. Which would obviously include her husband's mother and father. And, according to INDIAN culture father-in-law is considered at father's position in sasural (means husband's home).

In this case such matters or even such stories are not fully accepted by the INDIAN audiences as it doesn't match the typical INDIAN mentality.

well @anonymous4444...i disagree with u at some points (no offence)...it does match the indian mentality coz whhat priya is doing rite now is what every indian women would have done..and one more thing SSP tried to rape priya long before aditya and his family met her..It was juss a coincidence that priya happened to be his daughter in law..all the four women in maryada are depicting emotions which are buried in the heart of many indian women...yes..if SSP had molested priya after her marriage then it was quite unacceptable...I truely dont find anything too bold in this show....

even in SGP they showed a really hott SR male lead went shirtless.....and were seen doing all those stuff.......even on 7:30pn slot....then y Maryada cant.......they can show even more hot scenes as the show cms after 11pm
