Japan earthquake & Tsunami

Hello friends,

I'm sure most of you must have caught uo with the news. An earth quake measuring 8.4 in the ritcher scale hit Japan early today leading to wide scale destruction. This was closely followed by a mega tsunami which seems to have swept away towns.

Millions are injured and many are assumed to have died in this horiffic event.

Having survived a tsunami myself, personally I'm devastated to hear this news. Please say a small prayer to those affected by the earth quake.

I hope God gives them the stregth to overcome this disaster.

That was so nice of you to make a topic Godsmacked. It was really terrible what happened. The last one they had was in 1995.

This was a tragic diaster! The images and videos of the tsunami are heart shattering! RIP to all those who lost their lives.

We r watching in television...it is very horrible....fuel plants r burning and whole cities r burning and they even declared nuclear emergency near their nuclear plant as water levels r decreasing .

I know its all over the news.. Japanese are fighters.. they deal with so many earthquakes but they fight back and pull themselves together.. kudos to their spirit.

yeah, saw the report on TV, such a terrible news! it could be us so just praying for all those affected by this disaster and for the rest to be safe, hope that help will come soon!

I just watched the news as well this morning and I pray for them and their well beings. It is truly sad. I pray for their families as well.😔

yeah i saw tht wht happened.......its highly disturbing to know when such an incident occurs especially a natural calamity like this...
