Globus is the retail chain of stores promoted by Rajan Raheja. They have recently signed Soha Ali Khan as their brand ambassadress. Soha will be the face of Globus for 2006-07.
Soha has already appeared in a number of print ads and hoardings across the city. Soha Ali Khan was recently seen as the young and vivacious girl in the film 'Rang De Basanti.' She received quite a few applauses for her role in the film. Mr. Vinay Nadkarni, CEO of Globus says, "Globus stands for cool and casual fashion for today's Indian youth who are very comfortable with their Indianess in this ever changing world. Soha reflects this very attitude and comes across as a modern and confident youngster who strikes the perfect balance between the western style of dressing and Indian fashion."
Soha Ali Khan, daughter of Nawab Pataudi, ex-cricketer and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore was seen at the Lakme fashion show to lend her support to her designer friends. Globus will officially launch their above the line campaign with Soha in mid April. Speaking on her association with the Globus brand, Soha says, "I strongly feel that style is an attitude, which makes an individual. This has easily been portrayed in all the Globus designs and I feel extremely privileged to be the 'Face' of Globus."
