Is Nargis Shahid's new Heer?
Nargis has replaced Deepika in Sajid Nadiadwala's forthcoming film Heer Ranjha
Deepika Padukone's exit from Sajid Nadiadwala's Heer Ranjha made many actresses try to catch hold of Heer's role. Now we hear that Rockstar actressNargis Fakhri has stepped in Deepika's shoes.
According to an industry source, the American model turned actress Nargis has signed Sajid Nadiadwala's modern version of classic love story Heer Ranjha. It will be directed by Sabbir Khan and Nargis who makes her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali's 'Rockstar' opposite Ranbir Kapoor, will be seen romancing Shahid in action love story HR.
It is also believed that Nargis will have to attend a work shop for a few days to get into the character of 'Heer'. Sajid Nadiadwala remained unavailable for comment. It can be recalled that after Deepika's exit Shahid suggested girlfriend Priyanka for the same role.
We wonder how a Nargis will pull off the role of an Indian legendary lover's character.
