Who are your leads afterall ?
I had the impression that it was Pratigya and Krishna,but ,for the last 6 months or so there has been no tracks concentrating on them. Let me be more specific: If I am right ,starting from August you have been emphasizing on every other couple other than Kriya. There has been no storyline progressing their life together.
You started with Aarushi and Aman --- Aarushi and Shakti (The whole Bigamy issue --- the whole concept was derogating and some what hilarious too)---Aadarsh and Komal --- Adarsh getting criminal --- Kesar burial drama --- Shakti jail drama ( By the way how was his bail justified ?) --- Then comes, kesar's pregnancy --- Kesar goes and comes back in the Niwas. And in all this where is Kriya ? Cvs! They are no where only to be seen in bits and pieces. You have shown more of Aarushi ,kesar ,Shakti, Sajjan ,Amma and the Saxes than Kriya.
Lets come to the present track: Breaking news!!! According to the articles and the promos ,it is suppose to be a track on Kriya It should be mainly concentrating on Krishna's work and the endeavers of kriya. But , you are still showing Shakti and Kesar's cat and mouse game and the useless thakur drama. When is it going to be over ?
I understand that Kesar's empowerment is part of your theme. But, may I remind you Pratigya is the protagonist and not Kesar. The main storyline should be on the main leads and not on parallel characters.
When is it going to be on Krishna and Pratigya ? Or is it that you are moving away from your main purpose?
Another point, I would like to emphasize is that your constant showcase of EVIL in the serial. It is a known fact that there are fuedal societies with evil character's like the Thakur's. Families where DIL's are victim of domestic violence. I would say this again , only showing the darkness of the society will not help, you will have to show the remedy too.
Your broadcasting house recently received a notice about showing too much violence on women in your show 'PRATHA". I am afraid you are doing the same thing in 'PRATIGYA'. There is unnecessary verbal abuse in this serial and ofcourse Amma is the abuser. Her taunts ,the way she speaks to Pratigya is all very disgusting to watch. She seriously needs to stop talking to Pratigya in a condescending way. It is too despicable.
You have suddenly started showing Sajjan as a feeble ,weak old man who is so helpless. Are you trying viewers to sympathize with him. Well, I can only say about my feelings: Whenever I see Sajjan Singh, I see the face of a criminal who has conspired the murders of his DIL's. I feel no sympathy for the man.
My point in writing all this, is because I am inspired by Pratigya's character and want you to concentrate on her life and character. She is the protagonist and hence kriya should be on the center of attraction and not the other way around.
