Character Sketch
Geet Handa – A 24 year old interior designer. Born to Shasank Handa, a doctor and Kalyani Handa, a housewife. Her mother passed away when she was 5 years. Experienced a lonely childhood with no mother and a father who distanced himself from her; her paternal grandfather, Anupam Dadaji, helped her through rough times, with whom she shares a playful relationship. She loves hearing all about her mother and does many things just so that she feels connected to her mother. She is sweet, righteous, has a traditional modern outlook, kind, mischievous and is sensitive when it comes to her mother.
Maan Khurana – A 27 year old business tycoon. Born to Shahid Khurana, a business tycoon and Lalitha Khurana. His father died when he was 15 years old. He was naturally entrusted to be the man of the house in a young age. He is generally weak when it comes to expressing himself especially love. He is protective and possessive when it comes to his loved ones. He is hot-tempered, impulsive, arrogant, egoistic; yet kind and responsible.
Anupam Dadaji – Paternal grandfather to Geet Handa and father to Shasank Handa. He is cheerful, outgoing and has a modern outlook. He loves his family a lot and treasures Geet. He is very smart and is able to know and understand another's feelings well.
Shasank Handa – Father to Geet Handa, husband to deceased Kalyani Handa, and son to Anupam Handa. He is smart, intelligent and witty in his daily life. He takes care of his family immensely but he always distances himself from Geet. He had a love marriage with Kalyani Sundram, a Tamil girl, whom he met in his college in his early twenties. He does not talk much and is a workaholic.
Savithri Dadima – Mother to Shahid Khurana, mother-in-law to Lalitha Khurana, and maternal grandmother to Maan Khurana. She is witty in her talk and cheerful in nature. She has a modern outlook on life and loves her family a lot. She is one of few people who really understand Maan and is able to interpret Maan's actions well.
Lalitha Khurana – Mother to Maan Khurana, daughter-in-law to Savithri Dadima and wife to deceased Shahid Khurana. She is sweet, soft and graceful. She loves her family a lot. She is a typical and perfect housewife, daughter-in-law and mother.
Dev Singhania – A 27 year old singer and entertainment artist who is best buds with Maan Khurana since young age. He loves life and believes in living it to the fullest. He is completely different from Maan but yet stayed through thick and thin with Maan. He is one of few people who really understand Maan and is able to interpret Maan's actions well.
Meera Rathod – A 25 year old interior designer who is senior to Geet in the work place and close friends with Geet since college days. She is cheerful, playful and adventurous. Unlike Geet, she is a little reckless and lazy. She is understanding and has some spunk in her. She is a little rough in her attitude towards unknown men.
