It will not be better if ever Runjhun would have said the truth about Lakhan and Mishrayn instead of suffering .Runjhun is so near and dear to amma so why is she hesitating that much???Any ideas how it would have been much easy to deal with this probs and tackle Lakhan and the two other men with him.

I think she's stuck between a rock and a hard place. She wants Amma to be happy and its really hard to choose between two evils. I think today she tried to break the marriage without hurting Amma but she feels that everytime her marriage will break and Amma will keep trying and in the long run Amma will keep getting hurt...so she kind of decides its better to keep her Amma happy...

R agreed for Amma's happiness. She says Amma khush, to hum khush. She is really doing it for Amma. She did not choose the lesser Evil out of both evils, its just that she chose her Amma's happiness. (But its really wrong to do that, because in the long run, her & Amma are the ones that would be hurt, if this LM chosen ladka marriage took place.)
In show the character made a choice based on the happiness of another. She sacrificed her own happiness, life for her Amma. Like most indian serial heroines. Nothing different was shown. Now only R's fate can help her.

This seems to be the only way to let the story continue further. I hate this hiding-the-facts business.
That to me shows poor-story-writing skills.👎🏼, that is for you CVs.

I soooooo agree with you Bee, I hate the CVs for taking the easy way out and using the 'hiding-facts' theory to give themselves room to manipulate the story ....

This does reflect poorly on their writing skills .........

And this is not just in this serial ... it happens in every serial on TV .... that way, they can run the serial for 1 or 2 or 5 or 10 years !!!! It gets on my nerves !!!

You are right Bee we all agreed and it true that this serial is diff from the others ... 😊

But as the story progresses, usually 4 months down the line ... the makers always lose focus - getting distracted by the TRPs and numbers game ... that's when they begin to tamper with a perfectly good story and introduce illogical and unbelievable twists & turns ... and naturally the story looses it original sheen ...

I've experienced this with so many serials ... so much so that ... now I've taken to watching the serials just for 5-6 months ... after that it's a sure-fire bet the the story begins to disintegrate. 😔

What do we, as discerning viewers, ask for ?

Just that they tell a good story ... something which has an interesting plot, a good start ... a logical progression and a satisfying end !

Isn't that a simple and reasonable request ?

But .... most CVs just dont do things anywhere close to this .... and the result ?

We are served illogcal / banal / unbelivable lenghty, winding tales that never seem to end .... and finally when they realise they are losing grip ... they abruptly end the serial ... leaving even the most ardent fan feeling cheated !

Phew ... ! That was quite a rant ! ... Sorry friends .... Once in a while I get into this bash-the-CVs mood and the result is a rant like this !!! 😆 😆 😆

I'll soon be back to normal ... with another crackling Gunjhun scene ... I'll be back to cheering the CVs on ! 😉

Usha,
Very true. Agree to everything you have written. My experience as well.
But lucky you, you can disassociate with the show after 5-6 months. I can't seem to do it .. I need to learn to let go. Will learn soon probably.😃
