My first fan fic and this fan fic is dedicated to Kavya Nanda where I will keep his memories alive.
Its a cold wintry day in Shimla. The door bell rings and an elderly woman opens opens the door. Kaun hai she says. The guy touches her feet and hugs her.
Bebe - Kaun Ved Putter
Ved - Kya bebe. not fair. ek pehchaan liye.
Bebe - nalayak. Tujhe to apni gaud main khilaya hai. tujhe nahin pechanee ki kya?
Ved - So my sexy bebe, andar aane ki permission hai kya..
Bebe - Itne din baad aa raha hai. ek dum nalayal. Ja main tujhse baat nahin kartee..
She turns her back. Ved goes towards her and hugs. Oh meri pyari bebe. Lo Maaph kar do na. He catches his ears and does uthak baithak.
Everyone has gathered by now hearing the commotion outside. Anjali has a big smile on her face and everyone is enthralled to see their son home...Ved tu aa gaya remarks nitya. Dadi , says ved and just before he is about to touch her feet. he says ek minute...he goes towards the picture of his dad kavya hanging on the mantle piece. Takes out a garland from his bag and places it on the picture along with the maple leaf. He prays around the picture and says dad - aaj aap mere saath nahin ho. Lekin main janta hoon ki iske bawajoot aap mere paas ho isliye hi to aaj maine apni university top ki hai aur gold medal jeeta hai. He takes the gold medal and places it along the picture. Some body touches his shoulder from behind. He turns arpund, smiles and gives her a big hug. Ma he says. He touches her feet. Anjali looks at Kavya and says aaj hamara ved ne dpuble degree payee hai, MBA ki aur Law ki..AAj se ...sssh ved says and completes the sentence and says - Main aapka sapna poora karoonga. He kisses the gold chain that was given to him by his father and then he goes and touches everyone elses feet.
Anjali looks on smiles and her thoughts go back to the time when Kavya was alive 20 years back. At that ved was a little baby and Anjali was telling him that when you grow up you will do your MBA and Kavya was saying nahin mera beta bada hokar ek lawyer bannega. Anjali Smiles as she remmbers this incidence and she looks at Kavya Picture and says aaj hamare bete ne hum dono ka sapna pura kiya hai. Tum kush to ho na.
Anjali is awakened from her thoughts and she looks down and sees ved kneeled on his feet. He has a book in his hand. Anjali instantly recognises the book. Its titled Kuch panne - Ateet ke. Her diary that she wrote on the story of her life - her story...Kavya's story.
Tears well up in Anjalis eyes. She takes the book from veds hand. Ved says kisse to bahut sune the ma, lekin jab publisher ne yeh kitab paddi, to unke aankh main aansoon bad aaye. Ma he told me that This story is as legendary story and will go down in history as the greatest love story as ever. Ma, pyar karne waale to bahut dekhe the, lekin aap aur baba jaise to koi nahin ho sakta..
Anjali - bas bas Shaitan...
Ved - Jokes apart Ma... I want to know about my dad all over again. Will you read this story to me again like you used to do when I was a child. As a child you used to tell me about my father and thhe incidents in your life. Please read this story again.

Everyone else gathered have smiles and tears of happiness in their eyes. They feel complete as their son is home.
