Chapter Four
The Fear
Humare do aadmi ko khabar lene chod de, taake woh pata lagai ke heera kaha hai, kiske haath mein hai, aur uksi manzil kaha hai, jis waqt woh heera Ratnagiri mein ponch gaya to woh heere pe sirf Dutta ka hakh hoga. Baji had found out that the 84ct diamond was smuggled from abroad and word was out that it was in Mumbai, but only for a while as someone by the name of Chasker had carried it on him 24/7 and was currrently dealing with some top boys in Dubai, nobody knew his whereabouts or even his name for that matter, but as Baji was well connected in the diamond business he knew where to make the calls.

Agar woh heera ukse haath lagaya to woh uss paiso se apni position aur majboot karlega Bhau, said Baji looking to him for his answer. 'Baji...' he said calmly swivelling on his chair and playing with the glass object on his desk meant for decoration, 'jo cheez abhi tak hui nahin, uskeliye hum apna dimaakh kyun lagaye, jo kaam hona chayihe uss kaam par apna dimaakh laga, Anna ke bare mein hum baad mein sochenge, filhaal hume is Chasker ko Ratnagiri ke bahar jaane se rokhna parega, aur woh bhi jaldi'. Bhau sunna hai ke yeh Chasker ki kamzori hai khoobsurat ladkiya, aur in ladkiyo ka sauda bhi karta hai Bhau, dhande pe lagata hai saala, aur uski jaan pehchaan wale police officer bhi hai jo uski madat karte hai Bhau, said Baji informing Dutta of this so called Chasker's nature and weaknesses.
Ayi Sahib had sent for Nakusha's clothes and items sending Kaale to Naku's house once again informing Babi that all Naku's neccessities were to be sent for her stay at Patil Niwas, Babi immediately understood what needed to be done and gathered all of Naku's belongings and packed them, not forgetting to carefully place Bappa's idol for her daughter's protection. As Kaale was going to leave he couldn't help asking Sethji on his way out 'er teri Tai ki ankhein neele rang ki hai na, woh neele ankhein wali hi teri Tai hai na....' 'arre haan'.....when Sethji paused seing Babi nodding her head signalling him to be quiet ....I knew it thought Kaale, the kid said yes, my eyes are fine the girl did have blue eyes when his thoughts were interupted by Sethji, ...kaun meri Tai ki ankhein aur neele rang ki, tum mera kaan keech rahe ho kya, Tai ki to ankhein kaali hai bilkul uske chehre ki tara, Sethji finished off his sentence smoothly confusing the hell out of the man in black, who left without saying anything.
Naku was so greatful to Ayi Sahib, as she came out of the shower wearing her fresh pair of clothes (from her old wardrobe, dark Naku's clothes), she prayed to her Bappa for saving and helping her through this dilemma, and reformed herself into her koel avatar, and she continued doing all the house work (just like in the episodes), Naku was instructed to clean all bedrooms and carry out all household chores for the day by Ayi Sahib, and than as she approached Dutta's room she cleaned up eveything pretty quickly and swept away the dirt, when she saw the white kurta lying on the bed with lipstick stains on it, as she picked it up in a pinching motion as though it carried some kind of contagious disease, and starting complaining to herself that...so this is why he was so eager to leave as he was getting disturbed that why I was holding him back to meet this galabi lipstick wali churail...not realising when her thoughts had ended up on her lips out loud whilst cursing Supriya unknowingly, 'kya kahan tune, gulabi lipstick wali churail kise bulah rahi ti tum'? questioned Dutta, as he walked in looking at his room clean since a long time, but than he thought was she hiding something behind her back not expecting me to see it he thought.....hhhhhu...she gasped in a huge breath aloud as Naku's eyes became big not knowing what to do as she turned around not meeting his eyes and trying to hide his kurta behind her back, not quite knowing why she did that....clumsy Naku....she thought to herself. And as she threw his kurta back into his hands hastily, she realised what she had done and panicked grabbing it again from him saying 'woh main apni'......quickly trying to cook up a story in her head.......'apni saheli ki baat kar rahi thi, woh bhi gulabi lipstick lagati hain na to...to..to...to mujhe uski yaad agayi, bas' saying that she ran away from there as fast as her legs could carry her down the stairs.
Dutta just thought to himself woh bhi, what did she mean by that, as he sat down and looked at his clean room he took his gun out and rested it on the blue sofa next to him and leant his head back closing his eyes and resting for a couple of moments. A few moments later Naku came back with a clattering cup of tea in a saucer, due to her hands shaking because of the embarassing encounter with Dutta had left her slightly unorthodox. She had no choice but to serve the tea to him as Ayi Sahib had instructed her to serve Dutta his appropriate meals on time including tea, as Ayi Sahib had left to meet with Purohit Ji at the mandir for Shivaratri preperations, she had told Naku to keep an eye on Roop too as she was home studying.
As naku was retying her hair in a tight bun she heard a roar, similar to the one from the previous night, it was none other than Dutta, shouting at the tops of his lungs shaking the whole house with the echo from his voice asking for some file, as Naku sprinted up the stairs tripping up a few times she asked what had happened, and he stared at her with bloodshot eyes, Naku could feel her hairs standing on end as she stopped at the door frame holding onto it just in case she needed to run, where is my file, he questioned without changing his tone or pitch making Naku jump and close her eyes at the same time, she tried to answer but no voice came out she just stared down, and when she finally plucked up the courage to look up her eyes fell onto the gun making her scared to her wits thinking this man is capable of anything and continued to remain silent, just when she felt Dutta grab onto her arm roughly and shaked her repeating his question telling her off why she came to his room and who gave permission, as she tried to release herself from him while crying vigourously, Dutta saw the tears in her eyes and said 'tu ro rahi hai' not knowing what to say, thinking to himself these girls just start crying for no reason, when he unknowingly let go of her, all he saw before his eyes was Naku running away as fast as she could, thinking to herself what was I thinking staying here I can't, I can't was all she could say to herself.
As Dutta had saw a frightened Naku running away from him, he rolled his eyes to the side and sighed when he began to run after her at a much faster pace, seeing Naku leave th PN gates and watched the stupid bodyguards just staring at her he thought to himself without stopping to give them an earful, carried on following her to the main road, what was she doing he said to himself.
As Naku struggled to see where she was going she'd headed for the main road where the headlights hit her eyes blinding her for two seconds, which was enough to miss the huge truck coming up to her, not knowing what to do Naku just put her hand in front of her face to protect herself when she hit the ground hard, and heard loads of car horns and fast cars driving near and far, when she opened her eyes, she saw the one who she'd just faced death 'cause of, he was holding her in a protective embrace on the floor when she noticed blood trickling down his forehead and the sleeve of his left arm had been torn from where his arm had been pretty badly grazed against the concrete leaving it looking very sore and red with blood seeping through at some places, as it was beneath her body which had stopped her from getting injured at all, a few scratches but not much to show for it.
As they both entered PN, Baji and Roops came running to both of them asking if they were both alright, but Dutta simply told them to continue with their tasks, as this was nothing for him, giving them that look where they wouldn't dare disobey his words, and left.
Dutta was lying on the bed on his stomach side down without his kurta and just his vest and pyjamas on, with one hand toying with his cellphone hanging off the bed and the other under his chin deep in thought, when Naku had entered with a first aid kit.
Ab kya chayihe tujhe, he said without moving, main aapko malam lagane aayi hai, koi zaroorat nahin hai, nahin chahiye mujhe teri malam, malam meri nahin aapki hain, aap hi ke ghar se mili mujhe, she argued as she sat on the floor beside him. And just than she applies tons of tcp on his grazed arm causing it to burn immensely, making Dutta scream out in pain 'aaaarggghhh!'.....kya kar rahi hai tu maine bola ta na tere ko ke mujhe yeh sab nahin chahiye, he retorted rudely. Main aapse pooch nahin rahi she answered getting offended. As he stood up, Naku too stood up, Chod mujhe.....nahin chodegi....chod mujhe he said again clenching his teeth.....nahin chodegi....she also knew how to be stubborn...yeh sab teri galati hai bari aayi ti apne Baba ko bachane aur ek hi raat mein bhaag gahi Jhansi ki Rani.....that was it Naku had heard it all by now........'meri galati, yeh..app ki galati hai' she said poking a finger in his chest hard, leaving Dutta shocked, 'meri galati', jee haan aap ki galati she said as she raised her voice word by word and stared right into his eyes...'agar aap gussa na hote, mere pe chilaye na hote, mujhe darr nahin lagta, aur main yahan se bhaagne ki koshish nahin karti, and than she repeated slowly, 'yeh, sab, appke, gusse, ki, wajah, se, hua, samjhe aap.....ab chup chaap baith jaye jab tak ghau ko saaf karke patti nahin lagati, and there Dutta like a tamed lion just sat down and obeyed what he was just told by Nakusha, althought he was partially shocked at this girl's courage, she'd flashed her big eyes at me again and attacked me while I was heated up, nobody ever shouted at Dutta Shriram Patil, especially when the iron was hot he thought to himself.
Hope you guys enjoyed this one too, the reason I haven't given Naku joint eyebrows is because I don't believe that even if in reality somebody did wanna look ugly, they still wouldn't adopt the unibrow, so if you can imagine her like this it's okay, if not, never mind.
The FR will happen eventually, but I want Dutta to fall for Koel Naku first, and there will be song sequences too, so be sure to have your headphones ready, I will let you know at the beginning of each chapter when they are required.
