Laxmibai is in a dilemma: whether to punish Dalhousie for his role in Gangadhar Rao's death or to forgive him.Rana Bankura and her comrades face the Company forces led by Nelson. As per the deal, Nelson asks Rana Bankura to handover Lord Dalhousie.

Robert Hamilton and Nelson are shocked to see Lord Dalhousie in custody of the bandit. Rana Bankura orders Nelson to leave Jhansi as Lord Dalhousie is alive.

Major Ellis shows Nelson the document signed by the senior officers and asks him to honor his word. Nelson agrees to follow the command of his superiors and quietly leaves the fort.

Laxmibai's return to the fort electrifies the residents of Jhansi. Laxmibai is welcomed as per rituals and everyone praises the queen.

Laxmibai claims Jhansi's victory had encouraged others to fight for independence. She adds that until and unless the British were driven away, they were not independent. Laxmibai leads the court to take a vow to evict the British.Lord Dalhousie is not only forced to leave India but also stripped of his powers and position following the victory of Jhansi.

While Robert Hamilton and Nelson bide their time to avenge their insult and defeat, Laxmibai too is biding her time to teach the British a lesson.
