Coming to Indian Idol… how attached do you feel to the contest?
Very attached. People see a different side of Anu Malik. They see me reciting shayari. Sonu Nigam, Farah Khan and I make a terrific trio. As for the contestants, I don't know whether Karunya will win. But he's outstanding.

Is he better than the last Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant?
Abhijeet was good. Karunya beats every singer from the past and present. But Sandeep might just as easily become the Indian Idol. Bhagya (fate) is greater than talent. People have to vote. And they seem to support Sandeep. We can't argue with the audiences' decision. But I hope Karunya wins. Even if Sandeep becomes the Indian Idol Karunya will go far.

Thank god at least Anu Malik is honest and gives Karunya his credit. We all have to be prepared for karu not winning the contest as we know people are made to send sms day and night as shown in the clippings so lets face the reality and accept destiny.Like all talent shows the best obviously gets voted out and it is a shame and very sad that good talented born singers like karu are relegated to a second spot by Indian public..Lets all accept the fact and pray karu does well in life and his hard work and dedication to sing perfectly will make him a star.I am resigned to the fact that karu will lose out by pub voting.He is paying a heavy price for being the BEST.THAT IS THE IRONY OF LIFE AND PEOPLE VOTING ARE DEAF TO GOOD MUSIC..IT WILL BE A MIRACLE IF HE WINS.

Karunaya is best. Amey was the only contestant who could have beat Karunaya but poor guy is out now. So karunaya should win.

thanks anjali.annu and sonu are right.iam glad javed akhtar is the judge today.every big singer has sung songs penned by him.he knows how singers can bring poetry to lfe.I love the song "ab mujhe raat din tumhara hi khayal hai".if karu nails this song...I am his fan for ever and ever. 😛
