Neha had this in one of her interviews, that her Naanu is Padmashree Pt.Siyaram Tiwari.

And I guess this guy is her cousin.
Ranjeet Pathak is an eminent Santoor musical instrumental artist of India. Ranjeet started his training in Santoor at the tender age of six under the guidance of his father Shri Devchandra Pathak, himself a well renowned musician on Tabla. Ranjeet is the grandson of the late Padamashri Pandit Shiyaram Tiwari.

she carries the genes. but she should continue either woth acting or singing, its hard to show dedication to both. In India, lately except Sulakshana Pandit, noone tried acting and singing together.

did u see what Kailash Kher asked her, when she was auditioned in Indian Idol? Sonali Bendre has no knowledge of music, Javed Akhtar is a poet and writer, Anu Malik is a womaniser, he molested Alisha Chinoy many years back, if some one remembers...thus they commented more on her smile than her singing, except Kailash Kher...
