announce Sridevi's name

Kareena Kapoor at an award ceremony held recently paid tribute to Sridevi by dancing to her numbers and was suppose to announce that the 47year old actress is all set to make her comeback soon. But it seems that Kareena was too enthralled and excited to be with Sridevi and forgot to mention that. However, no one is counting that, but everyone is just excited that 'Chalbaaz' actress is all set to sizzle on the big screen again.

As earlier reported that Sridevi will make her comeback in her producer husband Boney Kapoor's film, but no longer that is happening if the latest buzz is to be believed. Sridevi is making her return in a film that is to be produced by R. Balki of 'Paa' fame and is to be directed by his wife Gauri Shinde.

Last time Sridevi was seen essaying a full-fledged role was in 1997 film 'Judaai' and did a cameo as herself in 2008 'Halla Bol'. Everyone expected that the much talked about sequel of 'Mr. India' would act as the diva's re-launching pad, but that's not happening for some time now. Instead Gauri's film has intrigued Sridevi and she is getting back into shape for the film.

The subject of the film is about the repercussions of a marriage where the wife doesn't know English but her husband is a man who is upwardly mobile. The issues and the problems that the woman faces and how she works them out has excited Sridevi to take up the project and is reported to be going on the floors soon, may be April.
