Cvs! Its time for you to take a step back and question yourselves about the poor performance of PRATIGYA in the award ceremony:
There are several reasons why this happened:
You have failed to show any positive change in the serial. You claimed that the serial was about Women Empowerment. Instead of concentrating on the main subject ,you for the past few months have been showing useless tracts.
Bigamy is a social issue and instead of showing the culprits been punished ,they are walking free. Aarushi never got punished in the first place and Shakti is out free ( Well,God knows how) although charged with attempted murder. Where is the justice? Do you think we are stupid who will accept any kind of nonsense you show?
Kesar was buried alive, tortured, raped, abused severely: she walks out and what happens next : We all think that she is free atlast .But NO.The next thing we know,she is back in the hellhole. And now she is in house arrest. Where is the change?
The Thakur's have tried to kill Pratigya twice and they are roaming free. Will the thakur's ever be punished for their crimes?
The simple truth is that you are just showing one side of the story : the evils of the society .But what about the other side? What about showing justice for the abused ? These criminals need to be punished. I understand that this is a soap and you cannot show climaxes in one day . But atleast, have a balance between crime and punishment. I understand that this is a fictional show: But the issues you are portraying are all TRUE FACTS:
Domestic Violence: Physical,verbal,emotional etc- True.
Attempted murder: True
Bigamy: True
Forced abortion: True
Eve Teasing: True
Marital rape: True
House arrest of a woman :True.
and many more: I have lost count. You have just shown the issues ,but has not solved them.
Lets talk about your protagonist:
Pratigya: You have made her character absolutely useless: She is your protagonist .So give her some power. Only speeches does not change any situation ,action is required. So give her the power to face the evil herself. She should not have to be dependant on Krishna. Let me remind you that your goal is to show Woman Empowerment and not to show that women are weak and the only way they get a job done is with the help of a man.
krishna: Krishna's character has deteoriated immensly.He needs to stop acting like a child and be responsible. His character has been liked by all for been a doting and supportive husband. But recently he has been verbally abusing Pratigya. I think this has been bad for his character. He needs to be the loving and supportive husband he was.
And last but not the least is the relationship of kriya. Viewers love this couple and instead of making tracks on them ,you are actually wasting your time on the Saxenas. Do you not get it that people want to see tracks on the main leads?
This has been my observation and I think the social issues you have covered till now are very imporatnt. But please understand that at the end, goodness prevails over evil. So the evil in your serial should be punished and justice should be served to the abused.
