we regonise that...u dotn have embolden it, anjali ji
and also, PURVAJI ... i disagree with u...consider this:
if it is india forums, then y is every one talkin in english and not in hindi??? because all these r juz languages...and a mode to communicate ur voice and emotions...as long as we can speak in some lang and others can interpret it...it serves the purpose...but, Karunya has mastered over a lang that is not his mother tongue (u all should agree with me wot kind of love one possess 2wards their mathrubhasha)...and uma ji (thandabilli) was juz amazed at Karunya's young determination and effort and I support her post and she is not promoting any sort of stuff that was boldened!!!

This is about music. I have not seen any person living in Andhra (not a native of Andhra) and singing in Telugu.

I have listened to Udit Narayan, Shaan & Sukhvinder singing telugu songs and have been very amused and their blatant and unpardonable mispronunciations.

Compared to them Karunya's diction is very good.

So let us not talk about diction, pronunciation . . . yada yada. . . .

They should have a round in Idol where the finalists sing one song each in the other's language.

What about that, Heh ???? 😃 😃 😃

anjali, tht was just ur so called theory (quite inaccurate) about karu's hindi and not a fact.... and i can say this cuz i myself hav studied in a cBSC or as u call it, central school. and no most of our teacher were not north indians. well v did hav many teachers who were marathi's gujurati's etc but they hav been settled in hyd for generatioins so i dun consider them north indians, they r just hyderabadi's. i did comunicate in hindi to my classmates but that hindi, as i'v said earlier is very different from the hindi that v learnt in class. i think karu and i hav grown up in a very similar environment but i can tell u for sure that my hindi is not nearly as good as his. his hindi is more shudh and mine is more hyderabadi. well alll i'm trying to say is he is good in hindi cuz he ahs the ability to grasp the nuances of a language and it ws his interest in langueages which has now become an added asset to his singing. what is so wrong is acknowledging and appreciating this...... try not to read too much into it.

does any1 think this post is offensive?

NO,
as long as we bring forth our point in a manner which is not rude, I guess no one has a prb with that...and your post just clarifies the theroy that you have abt ppl's learning n grasping language....

I still back Anjali's theroy that his school background is more helpful and since he himself had tremendous interest to learn Hindi (due to some soap on DD), it is but obvious that his grasping of hindi wud be more.....and about diction, it develops what we listen to and I'm pretty much sure, national channel have the most rectified version that what we might have in our daily life...and I'm sure u wud agree to that point - if one is committed for something, nothing is impossible and for ppl like Karunya, who are well determined n firm of thier judgement, I dont think this whole topic make sense to call this incredible....but we, as human -have bonafide right to differ with each other...and thast why we are Human....independent thinking n agreeying to disagree kinda approaches that he inherently have within us.

Anyway, goodluck to karunya - I see good for Hindi if it goes more deeper in the areas where it is not that popular.....

what if i said that even i was an ardent follower of swabhiman... the soap that is apparently responsible for karu's good hindi. hehe i know what ur thinking.... i'm not just saying that to try and force my point, i really did watch it. if u dun beleive, i can tell u the extremely complicated story...Rohit roy aka rishab(he had a lotts moms 😆) was the protagonist, the first show that i noticed ashutosh rana (tyagi) and manoj bajpai (sunil) in....hope thats enough to show tht i did used to watch the soap, u wudn't really wanna hear the story of the 700 episode long soap wud u 😃. ok well getting back to my point, now v both were in an extremely similar education system and v even watched the same soap and v are also of the same age (wow i neva noticed me n karu share so many similarities 😳) so y is his hindi better then mine, cuz he was intrested in learning other languages.
i'v watched quite a bit of tamil movies, though i cant understand the language,i still cant speak a proper sentence of tamil though forget getting the accent right. the bottom line is, karu's ability to grasp the finer nuances of a langueage b it hindi or punjabi is not an easy thing to do and taht gives him an edge over the others and the credit should go to karu's intiative and interest not the education system or some ancient soap....these things can only influence you to some extent but it is ultimately the determination that matters. so kuddos to karu for having an exceptional diction 👏

Checks,

I also posted a thread indicating that Karunya is good business for Sony because he can address a wider demography.

What I want to hit home to all those that are looking for a yardstick to rate and vote for these guys is what Antara said once on the show:
"Achha Chunoge Tho Achha Sunoge"

Peace
