Hey Guys,

Can we discuss serials in this forum or only movies?😳😆 Because I am interesting in starting a discussion on a telugu serial called Chinnaari Pellikoothuru, which comes on Maa TV everyday at 7:00 PM (6:00 PM in US).

It was originally aired in Hindi as Balika Vadhu (it is still airing in fact) of Colors' channel, so if anyone saw the Hindi version, you guys know what I am talking about.

So did any of you see Balika Vadhu/Chinnaari Pellikoothuru? It is a pretty cute show.😳

Janaki..i have followed Balika vadhu for 2 and half years now than's to my mom 😆 and now i can't bear it again in telugu that too with that dubbed voices..😕though i really think its a treat for telugu no-hindi viewers 😃
I think u haven't seen it before so u better enjoy it :)
Hmm..what else telugu shows u follow?Just asking..as i follow none 😆

So....does that mean the serial is good or not?😆 I asked people in the Balika Vadhu forum and they said the first two years, with Anandi and Jagdish as kids, is really good, but it seems like very few people like the current track. Apparently they messed up Jagya's character, is that true?

I don't follow any other telugu soaps....if I ever find one that doesn't have a screeching mom, mother-in-law, daughter, or daughter-in-law, I'll let you know.😉

When it comes to soaps, I feel Hindi soaps are better as they seem more cultured and interesting than telugu soaps, but when it comes to movies I prefer Tollywood to Bolly by far.

Janaki..yes the serial is good..and do follow it...
the start times when they are kids are really good..it shows about the phases of women from childhood and u can connect to it..but right now after leap its a bit messed up..Jagya is falling for another town girl making anandi realize the importance of studies..it will pick up soon i guess..
And yes telugu serial/south in case are a bit over -dramatic but u can't ignore they have huge potential ..remember "pinni" "anubandham" etc are made to hindi and even now "pavitra rista","raktsambandh"."mayke se bandhi..dor" are still made..But hindi serial makers know how to attract audience n they organise well which is there plus n when telugu try to remake from hindi..they mess up totally..like some reality shows they are now remaking..😆
My mom sees this serial in Z telugu she said good "pasupu kumkuma"..i am not sure if it airs at u r place..do give a try..:)

PS! I used to watch the first couple of months, beginning is very good and no clue where the story direction went after that😆

Hi, Yes this show is good. Especially the girl who plays Savitri is very cute and adorable. Recently this Savitri's character got married and the story is progressing well. Anyway about remakes which anubandham were you talking about? Is it the one with a mother and her 4 kids who get separated from each other and get reunited in the last? Well that show used to air at 10 pm on Gemini many years back. But still I remember it. It was a good one.I really loved the characters especially that of Sanjay Bhargav and Anusha.
