The subtle touches I call them.
RBO has plenty of examples of these which is one thing I love about it.
Only during Rock On did subtlety go for a toss.
Which is why we hated it so muchš”
They might be very insightful-like Shaan's childhood stories-or they might be not so deep-like the shakar story-but they make the characters that much more real for us.
I LOVE the shaping of our two main characters as influenced by their pasts. It makes a flawed Shaan so much more believable and lovable and you respect him more for what he has become. And the innocence and playfulness of Khanak's nature and her sense of responsibility and correct behavior due to her upbringing just make her a delightful contrast.I still remember when she laughs in the KKH sequence and suddenly stops and when Shaan asks what happened she says with the most innocent expression ever that 'Bai ne kaha tha achay ghar ki ladkiyan oonchi awaz mein nahi hasti'
My cuties.
Umm sorry if I deviated from the topic.
You just refreshed some beautiful memories for me!
