Greetings, everybody! 😊
I was most definitely going to have myself practice a handful of time management skills, which include not switching on the computer this time in the night because I tend to waste time. However, seems like I haven't been able to that. Ouch, d'uh! So basically here's my take on tonight's episode.
There maybe be thousands of characters in one single show as this, each receiving only about 0.001 second in one episode of twenty-six minutes (pardon my math. 😳) but what is always reasonable and awe-worthy is the flow of the story. There's one particular thing that is taken up one at a time, and all through the episode - it is but the same base around which all events revolve.
All I could sense in today's episode was sentiment. Overflowing emotions, brilliant performances and excessively Indian traits, the episode displayed. For one, there was emotion from beginning to the end - the angst of a daughter, her father's guilt and then a lover trying hard to hold back his urge for his injured princess's blood. It was all so connected. Immensely reasonable and just plain remarkable a watch!
SK's performance had me awestruck. Back in her DMG days, I wasn't very regular a viewer and even after that, I never watched any of her ventures - hence, this particular performance she gave today was a most impressive one to me. Dramatic, emotion and above all, high in realism.
Next up was Madhu's reaction on being told of Pia. Why I call it Indian is that irrelevant of what her husband has done, what she focuses on is to make an adjustment and have her step-daughter home, regardless. It could be plain humanity if she really thought Pia needed them. What poured out of the scene was that her own husband was needful of his daughter and her forgiveness. Sigh. This only Indian wives do. 😳
Lastly, it was Abhay! For the first time ever, I laughed less and awed more at his vampire avatar. Chand made sense to me, I am super-glad and also, I liked the notion that was associated with the cold-blooded, Twilight-ish yet with a minor deviation. Okay, that's not the point - the point is, VD made a power-packed performance, he's the only actor in the show who has such a gradual and intelligent development on. I am still surprised, I dint laugh much!! Abhay's love overpowered his animal instinct; his blood lust and that was prominent even behind the lame violet iris of his.
It was quite an episode, very intense and absolutely mind-cracking! I have eventually started liking the show more and tolerating sentiment. 😃
Your views? 😊
