Is it possible Sajan Singh is not Shakti's father? I remember a while back Amma said she had trouble getting pregnant and ghanti dadi was going to have him married to someone else but then she got pregnant with Shakti. Maybe Sajan suspected she had an affair and that is why he treats him differently.

No - I don't think Amma was the kind of person to have an affair - she was the kind of woman who spends her whole like devoteed to her family. Hubby and kids.

😆 That's a new idea... and it could be possible coz anything is possible in TV Land. But I don't think that SS would accept Shakti at all if he even suspected Thakurain of having an affair. He would have either murdered her there and then or kicked her out of the house. I really do think SS loves Shakti a lot... only Shakti is appreciated less because he always willingly follows commands while everyone has to beg Baba... when Baba finally does something, which is rare... its considered as a big achievement whereas when Shakti does the same, its like routine.
