I definitely agree w/ this. While Sailesh Datar may not be a big ticket item, Vik Massey definitely is, so he dominates the show the way Arjun Bijlani dominates the new one. No offense to Juhi, she'd doing her job well, but she's no Sneha, Tanvi, Kritika, Sriti... so she's not a romantic attraction of the show the way the other gals above are. So unlike the other serials where people look forward to romantic Arjuhi, Avita, Neerdhya & other scenes, it's not the case here.

So the only thing left is, as you said, to make it a sasur-damad show. It was brilliantly billed as a show about messages about the treatment of midgets (I don't like to use the word dwarf, since it sounds like an alien creature out of Snow White) but actually a very well disguised sasur-damad show. And it's been thru quite a few phases - first Murli refusing, then agreeing, then marrying, then being supportive of his sasur and being shy about taking favors from him, then rescuing him by giving him back his money, then starting a business together, then having this fall out and now in full war mode.

So Murli is now, in a reverse way, what Sandhya was in RS: she was in full revenge mode against the Jagirdars for having used their riches to ruin her family & her, and now Murli is in that mode against the Chauhans for subjecting his family to that. (Okay, I recognize the comparison is somewhat odious - Rupesh is certainly no DK or Prabhavati) So he's firing on all cylinders. And I think it has to succeed for normalcy to return - so far, only Murli's side has been humiliated, but not Rupesh, so for any peace talks to even start, Rupesh has to start revealing to them what he found out about Prakash, but that he will only be forced to do once Murli has the upper hand.

well yes rupesh is no DK or prabhavati but i think he's like sarla & as i've always hated sarla though many of you didn't think she was so bad...i hate rupesh for changing drastically. if we're complaining about murli changing 360 degree then what about rupesh... is he the same rupesh that he was before... certainly not. even rupesh has forgotten humanity...

i truly feel sorry for bansilal...he's suffering. i wish even he develops a spine like murli & rupesh. then it would be more fun to watch...

murli & rupesh will be replacing gaushala & mridang soon if this track goes on like this...

Yeah, but there was no logic to the way Sarla changed. She helped Neeraj & Sandhya escape, and her argument later to Sandhya justifying that just didn't make sense. She alerted Savita on the Jagirdar's real motives, and did what she can to see that Sandhya didn't fall back in Yuvraj's control. Then she turned against Sandhya allying w/ DK, and later turned against DK allying w/ Prabha. Didn't really make a whole lot sense.

Rupesh is different in that he only started going negative once he found out that despite his best treatment of Murli's family, Bharti didn't enjoy a real marriage w/ him. And while I understand him being angry @ her not being trusted, he hasn't today once tried to explain to them what he found out. That's a good part of what has fed this misunderstanding.

Seeing how Murli treated Bhushan today actually made sense - from a purely business angle, when this is a new start-up, saving money is important, and for Bhushan to have used Rs20,000 transport to Delhi was unjustified. Although suspension was too much! Of course, as Rupesh's right-hand man, it was automatically assumed if he was going to do anything, but here, what surprised me more was Murli taking control of things, rather than insist on splitting it. I liked Murli rubbing it in and reminding him that he's still 50% owner 😆 It would be interesting to see whether Murli can make this operation fly, or run it to the ground. I'd prefer to see the former, as I can't wait for Rupesh's conceit to be busted - if Murli can prove himself, Rupesh can't call him a gold-digging incompetant. Incidentally, what was Dumroo doing there? 😆

Looks like Lalaji, who has been bad-mouthing bands of late, now saw how valued they actually are when the Pandey-ji came to invite them to his granddaughter's chatri(?) So maybe Rupesh can try his mouth @ this, while Murli figures out how to run the sweets company. But hasn't Gaushala destroyed all their instruments? They no longer have this, from what I remember. But I think I saw Murli slightly sympathetic when Pandey-ji invited Lalaji as a guest, and Rupesh was sympathetic as well when he saw Bansi invited to perform.

yes, but i guess murli's main intention was not to throw bhushan out but to humiliate him so that he would be hurt & seeing him obviously rupesh would feel hurt. coz murli has no rights to throw bhushan out especially when he has only 50% partnership & he's not the owner. coz there should be a mutual understanding between both the business partners when they're 50/50. murli came to the real point when he finally mentioned that until there's a settlement between him & rupesh, the work won't take place. so murli in inviting troubles & losses on himself coz he knows rupesh being the other owner will also have to suffer the same fate of murli.... right now i see no end to this rivalry🤔

I've largely commented on the Thursday episode in the update thread, but there was one thing ironic worth adding.

The first time Murli came to the attention of Rupesh was when he was willing to create a scene to save Bharti from being abused, and it was that which prompted Rupesh to pursue him as a SIL. Today, when Murli creates a scene in defense of his own family, you can bet that Rupesh will blame him, while forgetting how he was okay when Murli did that for Bharti. Plus, if & when Murli is kicked out, they'll note that he did a similar scene @ his last marriage appearance, & you can bet that Rupesh won't bother remembering that had it not been for that, who knows what would have happened to Bharti. I wish Murli had ignored it and focussed on when the baby would be fed.

Rupesh's friends, while talking to him, discussed Murli, and criticized Rupesh for giving Bharti away to this guy. Did they have no idea of how long and humiliating a time Rupesh took to find grooms of the same stature for Bharti? Also, as far as looting Rupesh, that was done by his cousin Parmeshwar Chauhan: what he gave Murli & family for Bharti was comparitively insignificant, and indeed, an attempt to divert property so that it wouldn't be under his name and thereby liable for forfeiture. Yet they blame Murli for looting Rupesh, rather than Parmeshwar, who's of the same family, if not the same stature, as Rupesh is.

Did they not realize how reluctant people were to accept a midget as their bahu? And Rupesh too, blinded by his resentment of Murli, doesn't tell them any of this, or how Murli saved Bharti in a function like this?

In fact, when Murli confronts these friends, as he's about to, I hope he asks them whether they had any sons, and whether they'd have accepted Bharti as their bahu the way his family did. That's all - don't be ready to blow up @ their other insults.

I'm glad that Murli gave Rupesh's pals all the facts right in front of him, while Rupesh was speechless. Of course, that meant him missing the baby's moment. Incidentally, Dumroo & the rest of the band couldn't have played it? Or Dumroo couldn't have forcibly yanked Murli from there?

I loved the eunuch invasion - reminded me of not just RS, but that moment in RS, where Sandhya brought in those eunuchs. Ok, there it was Sandhya, but here, the eunuchs just gate crashed 😆 And in a rerun of last time, they snatched Bharti. 😆 Rupesh was right in initially not wanting to go, and the stupid decision of Dhara & Bharti is now staring them in the face. I was particularly thrilled @ Pandey being humiliated by this eunuch invasion, and his son, who kept beating Murli, couldn't do much against the eunuchs 🤣 And I loved the eunuchs turning the attention on Bharti - now this Rupesh can't blame on Murli! So what's the bottom feeder here - dwarfs, eunuchs or band players? 🤣

And all the guests, instead of trying to grab Bharti - they could have just as easily attacked the eunuchs from behind, since they were greater in number. But they - including Pandey-ji & his son - just stretched out and tried to grab Bharti, and were successfully stopped? 😕 That's how you'd deal w/ a party being gatecrashed?

I loved Rupesh & Dhara being humiliated here - by someone other than Murli. After all, turnabout is fair play, and if the dwarves could mess w/ Murli & family, let the eunuchs do it here. I liked Murli just playing along, and not trying to be mahaan. Yeah, it was a tad unfair to Bharti, who during the dwarf attack, called the cops! Maybe, @ some point in the serial, have a dwarfs vs eunuchs battle, & let's see who wins 🤣

Anyway, so the answer is here - instead of trying to rescue Bharti, Murli just kept on playing, like the proverbial Nero. That's why tomorrow, Bharti will ask him for a divorce. Pretty logical - Murli saves Bharti, he's invited to marry her, he doesn't the 2nd time around, she asks for a divorce.

😆 yep....that scene reminded me of RS 😆 not only that i think that baby is also an eunuch like yuvraj 🤣 ...pandey's family was too much adamant on not showing it to eunuchs... like jagirdars they were also over-protective of it..i imagined pandey's son as dk and that baby's mom as prabhavati 🤣 ...

rupesh must have learned a good lesson from this incident how his rich pals didnt saved bharti which murli did before.....he must realise the worth of murli atleast now ...those buddas who were vilifying bandmasters neither rescued rupesh from his bankruptcy nor bharti from this predicament..this ingrate rupesh 😡 must understand they know only to banter & not stand by him at his difficult times .... if murli didnt helped him to deliver his order at time risking his own life during curfew rupesh might not have been what he is now and pandey might have not even invited him for his party....but rupesh was taking all accolades from those wannabes for himself

i loved that scene.. rupesh was slandering murli and his family,at the end it was him who left the party with tears 👏 ..... he deserves much more than this....his next damad has to be someone like prakash 😈 that could make him regret even more 😈
but in the meanwhile what will happen to bharti's life 😆 ....i think she has to pay for her father's deeds 😆

& i dnt blame murli much for not saving bharti .... there might not be a better opportunity than this to punish rupesh indirectly after all as for murli it was rupesh who brought dwarf community to humiliate them.... and these eunuchs couldn't be as harmful to bharti as those rogues at neelam's wedding...so murli's actions could be rationalised ....and he was guilty at the end..it was rupesh who made him majboor....poor bharti ..she is the one suffering in this conflict 😆

^^^ Not only that, the last time Murli saved Bharti from the fire, his entire family went to jail. Here, when the hosts couldn't be aggressive w/ the eunuchs, why should he be? So he went on playing. And yeah, Rupesh's friends didn't lift a finger for Bharti, and b4, they didn't offer him any of their sons for Bharti.

I don't think Bharti would accept Prakash, and nor do I think Rupesh would now give anyone any money to marry her. But otherwise, had Rupesh approached Prakash instead of Murli, Prakash would have gotten exactly what he wanted, and Rupesh too. And no middleman like Mridala to spoil things.

But I did think I saw Murli feel sorry for them as they quietly left the function. He didn't seem remotely gleeful @ what had happened. Also, I didn't like his not doing the main thing he came for - playing when the baby was fed. Murli, what was more important?

My, you do have an imagination - the baby being eunuch, and therefore, the family not wanting to have the eunuchs bless him. Incidentally, Panday - did he not know that Murli was Rupesh's SIL? If he expected Rupesh & family to be his honored guests, how could he not invite Murli in the same capacity as well, instead of asking him to play in the band? Or if he did need that band, why invite Rupesh?

Anyway, tonight - Bharti perks up & asks for a divorce.

ok today's epi(21st Feb) was a good one... nothing really happened though... bharli were trying to convince their families to agree for the divorce.though dharup were not in favor of bharti's decision, bharti somehow managed to convince rupesh that the divorce is happening for good... thank god!👍🏼

on the other side, while murli fails to convince his family, bansi tries to convince murli not to go for divorce coz bharti will be left nowhere. ok so who thinks murli is wrong... it's none other than kamala😲so is kamala back to her loving & caring saas mode???🤔 damroo is only worried that they'll have to leave the house...🤪

rupesh makes the announcement for a divorce under mutual understanding where murli goes ahead & keeps a clause of handing over the entire business to rupesh under one condition - that is keeping the house for himself👎🏼 before he takes the decision he has the flashback of damroo asking that do they have to leave the house now?👎🏼 this time the flashback doesn't justify murli's decision... too bad murli!👎🏼

what's he doing? claiming for alimony in the form of the house??? 😕instead of demanding for the house murli should find some other place to stay rather than claiming for the house... where did the money go that he earned from the business? as he's the 50% partner, he can sell the rest of his shares to rupesh & then just move on without having to look back... go somewhere else murli, don't stick to that place... come on man, have some self-respect😵

well while taking the decision of handing over the rest of his share, mridala seemed angry but their faces lighten up with joy when murli puts the condition of keeping the house for themselves😡

but the best thing that happened in today's epi was the decision of bharti...no i'm not talking about her decision to get divorced, it's the decision to stand on her feet & be independent👍🏼 great job bharti! keep it up! the way she said she now wants to stand on her feet & be a son to rupesh by working in the factory!!!👏 i'm really impressed with bharti that she won't be sulking at home remembering murli👍🏼
