I have to say that I'm impressed and satisfied with the way today's episode pulled through....Shimona and Jonaki don't matter to me because they infuriate me either way so I'm just going to talk about what really does matter to us...TaAnu!!! :D I was so worried yesterday about how they would ever manage to make the shaadi a happy occasion after such a hungama yesterday but I was so impressed with the way Anu made Taani's mood better so that she's not over-worrying and wallowing in despair over Robi during her wedding and how the everyone just kind of forgot about it (except for Shimona and Jonaki of course but who cares about their arrogant little minds)
You could feel the happiness in the air for the Ganguly's and for Laboni and they didn't show a ton of Taani but that smile after Anu left was priceless....as for the baraat....MINDBLOWING for me at least. I thought it was the most touching and beautiful baraat that I had ever seen and it seemed so real with all the rituals and when the band was play and the baraat made its way to Taani's house, I seriously felt like I was watching a home video of someone's actual baraat rather than a TV one...I don't think I"ve ever seen anything so real in any other show before...you can always tell its TV-ised for the baraat and shaadi in any other show but this was real and believe able. And I must say that when they said shandaar wedding aur dhoom dham se banayega, these people actually carried it through...you could feel the grandness and that traditional feeling which I feel never carries out in any other reel shaadi.
As for Anu...oh God, what can I say about Anu other than that he is the hottest and cutest and most amazing, outstanding, above and beyond dulha raja and if I loved Anu/Harshad before today then that love has increased an infinite amount from when I saw him today...absolutely amazing and bilkul raja ke tara lag raha tha mera Anu...and I have no words for that scene where he asked Laboni ma to do the aarti for him...the most beautiful and heartwarming saas-damaad, more like ma-beta, moment ever, I had tears in my eyes and I was really wishing at that moment that it was just TaAnu's shaadi and that Robi wasn't also getting married but I was satisfied that all the attention was focused on Anu rather than more on Robi which would have irritated me beyond belief. And then that moment between Neelu and Laboni was also just as precious...I have to say that I love these maaon like I have never loved any other ma on television. There's so much I want to say and I don't have the time to say it but today's episode definitely kept a smile on my face (minus the one irritating scene) and I just hope that tomorrow satisfies me just as much and that the focus continues to be on our raja, Anu, and rani, Taani. Edit: I realized what the other thing was that I was forgetting before: I loved when Anu told Taani that he doesn't like it when people talk to her in high voices or rudely speak to her which made his angry expressions from yesterday come back to me because I was worried yesterday that he would misunderstand Taani or scold her for trying to interfere in Robi's life again because of those piercing angry looks he kept shooting all over the place and now I realized that he was angry because people were talking rudely to Taani and usko bardasht nahin ho raha tha...I love it when protective Anu comes out <3
