Did you ever wonder how the once sanskaari Happy go lucky Karanjkar family members, or the Karanjkar kids, lost their sanskaars???
The Senior K's atleast did not raise their children like this. If we rewind back to the begining of PR, then we see that like any normal family, they had a balance of characters. A overtly sacrificial elder sister/ghar ki maa to all....with maa like care towards one and all in the family.
A rebel sister who would be ready to safe gaurd her familiy's interest in case of trouble from outsider's......remember how she would confront Manu in all her wrong doings and also deal with Savita.
A dumb and playful...not so very indulgent Vaishu and
The ever loving Dada who although was a joru ka ghulam, but never forgot his responsibilities towards his parents or his sisters...
Then they were sanskari. But later down the lane, they started losing it.....Actually it's true, that sometimes when the girl's in the house are getting married, then the bhabhi's of the house get Jealous of their SIL's going into a better family than them, especially if the relationship between bhabhi and SIL's is not good or ok ok , or of they are around the same age group.
Also,if there are Behnoi's in the house then they would get Jealous if the SIL is getting a better husband ..sheer competitiveness....
THIS IS WHERE PR TOOK TURN FROM A VERY HAPPY GO LUCKY FAMILY TO A VERY UNSTABLE ONE...............AS THEY SAY ONE ROTTEN TOMATO IS ENOUGH TO SPOIL THE BASKET..... 😡 😡This is very very true in apna samaaj. But here in PR... the K's did not have problem with the damad's...... All of them were very confidant individuals. But because of their competetive and insecure Bhabhi, they all had to go through........ The biggest mistake the K's did that when they found out that there was a rotton tomato in the basket, they did not seperate Vinod's family from them and safegaurd their other daughter's interests. They did not even try to strictly reprimand her and control her. They SIMPLY LET HER LOOSE....... And what did she do?? upset the entire apple cart...... 😠ðŸ˜
Varsha- As soon as she realized that she was not being heard at home, her evil bhabhi was winning most of the time in her way's, was putting her down, scheming and conniving against her and Sulo aai was also supporting her, she started to feel insure at home, with her own people. .....so as a result, she started taking shelter in her friend.....who was nodding to all varsha said and pleasing her, thus making her feel secure.....so slowly Varsha started neglecting her family members and becoming a bigger rebel... Sulo and Mahohar baba would have listen'ed to her and allowed her to go to that Pune training etc... had she tactfully handled the situation and used Archu to bribe her parents into accepting her career demands..... but instead, she was frustrated by her family's lack of faith in her and left home...... from there on the saga of a simple rebel turning into a total angry frustrated Whimsical Varsha began....to add to it, she was also cheated by Ashwin..., and her best friend.....she had more reason to breed and nurture that rebellious and frustrated attitude.. to add to it, she got married, initially against her wishes to Satish.... so Varsha transformed to a untollerable personality......slowly losing her sanskars.......
Vaishu--- She is sweet and was the more normal one in the house....But in the beginning she would come across as the dumb head girl who would be easily influenced by all and would never need to think about the truths of life much as all the other elder's would think for her and spoon feed her.....she was always considered as a kid.....all of a sudden she had to become a big girl cuz her mom thought of marrying her off.....she was ok with her fiance but when DHarmu came along like a dare devil hero and proposed to her in front of her parents, she for once flowered into a lady from a school kid...suddenly she was given great importance.....To her he was her Hero. So,dumb being what she is, just liek a tweenager ran to his house to talk to him...... totally unknowing that he was getting married the same day... so again zapped by seriousness of the situation there are Dharmu's house, her mind went blank and she told the real reason she came for..... So she still is sanskari........bas haalat ki maari thi.....
She was fine taking care of all her sasuraal and mayika family members but her's is the classic case of sangathi ka asar.....Being with Dharmu she too lost sense of viewing someone in the right light and so lost her sanskars and judgement and started mistreating Manav and his family members.
Archana------She was sanskaari till she got married... it is also natural for a sanskari girl to believe her parents are true and follow what they say...It was all Slapochana's fault for over reacting and and bringing Archana back....She lost the thin line between being sanskaari and wanting to be Mahan ever since she landed in the D house.....She is sooo used to people liking her, that Savita's dislike for her was bothering her and she unknowingly wanted to triumph this situation by winning over her....inorder to do that, she even was willing to sacrifice her love and own interests,so that Savita could be happy... From there she ceased to be a simple, lovable sanskaari Archu to an Mhaanata obsessed Archana the Great......in her pursuit to become Mahan she even manipulated the innocent Manav to play to her tunes and gave all excuses of his responsibility, his VADA to Shravani, Of keeping up one's promise etc......... not realizing that illegal promises should be broken immediately when they are recognized as one.....
She manipulated her parents, Manav, Damo baba and even Savita Aaai... to think and accept what she thinks and acts.....Only Shravani failed to buy that, as she could see the other side... that side which was was pulling the strings of every one in her family (D family). Finally she couldn't take it any more and ran off for good.......Else her entire life Archu would have manipulated her husband....she did not want that.....
After her makeover with a new degree, a new job, and with the renewed strength obtained to face the samaaj, with rich experiences of dealing with all the issues post her marriage, she went fighting and slapping any one who was causing harm to her Manav, she couldn't control her obsessive compulsive nature when it came to Manav, even when it meant her parent's health. In her pursuit of Mahanta, she even went ahead to almost get married to Jay fully knowing that, it would mean sleeping with him and also having his babies.... and no more pavitra rishta.........
Who was she kidding when she finally ran off on her marriage day? was it only cuz Satish encouraged her???? She would have done the same thing after her marriage too.Else kill her self before Jay touched her..... most probable.... She was the most Selfish person there......ready to ruin Jay's life, his family as well her own family... for her own selfish reasoning.......This happens when a humble dove, who once never even wandered outside her house, totally cut loose and run amuck on the streets. She turned into a Mahanta obsessive Monster in the garb of humility and....sanskars......
Now she totally lost it, no control on herself. Even when Manav is there with her, she cannot let go her pursuit of Mahanta...she want's to solve everybody's issues and take control of their lives and be the Mahan Archana......so she does not stop misguiding people just like she did before, with her life, by getting divorced, forcing Manav to continue with Shravani, giving her more false hopes.......etc etc...
This time its her humble dumb sister Vaishu.....Thank God!! Ajith is wise Ajith... else, Archana would have manipulated Goat Vandu's life too.
Vinod--- He lost his sanskaars after he brokedown under the pressure of perennial stress his sisters brought home.......First it was only his wife....he could handle that easily with some effort... then came Archu's never ending issues, the mother load of stress, then Varsha's whims and later the never ending drama's that happen in the house..... The only man in the house to take it all.....poor guy had to breakdown some day..... and in this weak moments of his, his wife completely took control of him and he totally stopped thinking for himself and became non sanskari gratitude less VInod......who could not think twice before insulting Manav and accuse him of chori.......
So this is my analogy of how the sanskari K's lost their sansakaars...... The final ending of this PR story would be of how the, currently not so sanskari people, will learn the hard lessons of life ...including Archana and come back to becoming once again the normal sanskaari happy family....How this would be achieved, is the story of Pavitra Rishta.......That is why all other characters other than the K family are all grounded....they are all supporting to the story and will remain the same......

Archana-- How to mind your own business and stop the pursuit of Mahanta. Learn to identify the line between being responsible sanskaari to a Mahaanta obsessive psycho
VInod- To be a Man!! think for himself, be capable of taking right decisions, get a grip over his wife and life and strike the right balance.
Varsha- Endurance, ENdurance, ENdurance!! Being selfless, andget control over her sharp mouth.
Vaishu- Think smartly, take the reigns of her life in her hands and not let others do the the thinking and decisions for her.
Aaai-Baba--- To know when to douse the flame before it consumes the whole hosue. How to timely tame the beast and...... always keep your eyes open...... being able to let go their son and his family...... and become independent.....
