Karunya Rocks(from all Saouth africa's pp - Page 2

I totally agree with u.even if sadny wins.he doesn't have talent to sign.and he wont get as many offer as karunya.even if karunaya doesn't win atleast he will have nice and bright career waiting for him.coz he has prove his talent.he rocks.

Just a Q Maira....is II all about singing soft songs only? Coz I've heard people complain more than once about Karu not being able to sing soft songs (which I personally don't agree with esp after his emotional jaana hai!) but I think (and I'm sure MANY MANY people will agree with me) being II is about singing a diverse selection of songs. It's about being able to sing a variety of songs in your very own style....making a song your own and showcasing it differently from the original singer and in that aspect I think Karunya's def surpassed Sandeep. Sandy did sing a small variety of songs (always staying in his comfort Udit zone for a long time) but it was mostly duplication (not always to the T mind you) and maybe a little bit of originality but there was always a punch that was lacking and to be a performer you have to display energy on the stage. This is where Karunya is ahead of the game. He not only picked a larger variety of songs but he also performed them with ease (not indicating that he was struggling unlike Sandy who in some songs showed that he was uncomfortable) and also making the song original to himself rather than just duplication. That's the key to any performer.....not to just duplicate a song but to make it their own and present it a little differently to showcase your ability. I think Amey to a large extent was good at that as well....he could perform the song differently from the original making it his own. So I'm sorry if you think an II has to sing soft songs only but variety is the spice of life and no singer will want to be typecasted into a particular genre of songs.....just ask ANY professional singer and they'll tell you the same.

P.S. The reason why Humtum wasn't "upto the mark" as you mentioned was coz Karu was sick that day......if you are able to forgive Sandeep for singing an entire song completely off pitch while he was hale and hearty then you have to give it up for Karu for bravely singing the song (in pitch mind you) even when he was sick.

people karunya can sing soft pitched songs .sandeep's fans are just stretching the only perfomance which was not that great(though i liked it-but not luved it).karunya sang:dilse re,mera jaisa etc low pitched songs and he was better than the best.

if you can drag hum tum.then i would luv to say sandeep can only sing soft songs.remember "mitwa re..." and many disastrous like that?
