Why don't you catch up on some episodes and recap's (written updates) on the Star Plus Website in India. Best place to start, all the news about new characters is also on there, under Saath Nibhana Saathiya show, including Dhawal character.

He was in Mumbai. He missed the marriege of Gopi and Raschi. We dont actually know wh he so stupd is. He just made an entrance. He is a comic role😊
