In the January 24 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Tatya Tope tries to revive a comatose Laxmibai.

Moropant eavesdrops on Nelson's conversation with a fellow officer. The official informs Nelson that Laxmibai was busy in battle and Robert Hamilton was leading his army towards Jhansi.

Moropant frets about Jhansi. Moropant decides to inform Laxmibai; however, his efforts are thwarted on learning that it was impossible to escape from the fort as it was being guarded by the Company soldiers. Nelson's decision to clear the corpses of Jhansi soldiers from the fort provides Moropant with a ray of hope. Under Moropant's command, a Jhansi soldier hides among the corpses and manages to escape from the fort.

Tatya Tope decides to make Nathey Khan for his crime of stabbing Laxmibai. At Tatya Tope's command, Nathey Khan is blown from a cannon. Tatya Tope remains unmoved by desperate pleas of Ladai Sarkar for mercy.

Anand's words resonate in an unconscious Laxmibai's mind. Jhansi camp is jubilant on seeing signs of revival in Laxmibai.

Tatya Tope is about to punish Ladai Sarkar when he is stopped by Laxmibai.

In the January 25 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Ladai Sarkar is stunned when Laxmibai spares her life again.

Moropant's messenger manages to evade the British and reach Laxmibai's camp. Laxmibai is shocked on learning that the British have captured Jhansi and also imprisoned Moropant along with Anand and Chimna Bai.

Nelson rejoices on seeing the approach of Robert Hamilton at the head of the British army.

Laxmibai at the head of a division of her army along with Tatya Tope gallops towards Jhansi. Ghaus Khan leads the rest of army towards Jhansi.

Moropant is stunned to see Major Ellis in a neighboring prison cell. Major Ellis recounts that while returning to Jhansi after meeting the queen, he was arrested. Ellis reveals Nelson and Robert Hamilton had hatched the conspiracy to overthrow the queen.

The arrival of the British army triggers unrest in Jhansi. Unfazed by it, Nelson warmly welcomes Robert Hamilton in Jhansi.

Nelson is terrified on seeing the approach of Laxmibai. Acting on Nelson's instructions, the fort's gates are closed foiling Laxmibai's attempt to enter the fort.

Robert Hamilton waves the Company's flag. Nelson holds Anand at gunpoint forcing Laxmibai and her army to retreat. But before leaving, Laxmibai vows to win back Jhansi.

In the January 26 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Laxmibai resolves to rescue her parents and Anand. Tatya Tope asks Laxmibai not to be carried away by emotions.

Robert Hamilton points out to Nelson that the queen of Jhansi would never accept defeat and would return to win back her kingdom. Nelson brags that he had full faith in his army and was confident about his victory.

A soldier announces to the army, Laxmibai's plans to storm the citadel in the morning. Rao Dulaju quickly sends a messenger to warn Nelson. He also makes it a point to warn Nelson that he was not fully aware about Laxmibai's plans. Nelson is determined to foil Laxmibai's plan.

Robert Hamilton and the Company soldiers are surprised to see Laxmibai storm into the fort when the gates are opened in the morning. Robert Hamilton commands his soldiers to chase the queen.

Moropant worries after Nelson decides to hang him along with his wife and the Prince.

While Hamilton chases the Queen, Laxmibai, disguised as Company soldier, manages to meet Major Ellis and learns about Nelson's plan to hang Moropant along with Chimna Bai and Anand.

Robert Hamilton is further shocked when it is revealed that Raghunath is disguised as the queen to mislead the British army. Hamiltorn engages Raghunath in a duel. Tatya Tope along with Pradhan Mantri and the women's army come to Raghunath's aid.

Meantime, Laxmibai along with Major Ellis rescues her parents and the prince.

In the January 27 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, one of the British officers cleverly picks up the sword kept on the ground and attacks Major Ellis who is questioning Nelson at the time. Injured, Major Ellis falls down.

The soldiers of Jhansi as well as the women's army continue their battle against the British soldiers. Laxmibai deftly attacks Robert Hamilton. Subsequently, Tatya Tope and Raghunath imprison him. The subjects and the soldiers of the kingdom rejoice their victory.

A mahapuja is organized to celebrate Jhansi's victory as well as Prince Damodar's birthday. While praying, Laxmibai feels Gangadhar Rao's presence around her. She tells him that as long as he was with her she would never be defeated. Gangadhar Rao's image disappears when Damodar touches Laxmibai's feet. Laxmibai asserts that they must rescue Major Ellis from Nelson's clutches.

Meanwhile, Nelson continues to whip Nelson blaming him for his defeat.

Tatya Tope tells Damodar that like his mother, he too must become a great warrior. Damodar asks Tatya Tope to gift him his sword as his birthday present. Tatya Tope lovingly presents his sword to the prince.

After the puja, a servant offers prasad to Robert Hamilton. The captured official throws the plate full of ladoos on the ground. Prince Damodar places his sword on Robert Hamilton's neck and orders him to eat the fallen ladoos.

Damodar states that Robert Hamilton was bowing at his mother's feet. Robert Hamilton asserts that Laxmibai would never be able to get her palace and kingdom back.

A clever Laxmibai orders Raghunath to send a messenger to Nelson informing him that if he wanted to see Robert Hamilton alive, he must leave the palace.

In the January 28 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Laxmibai sends a message to Nelson warning that if he wanted to see Robert Hamilton alive, he should vacate the fort of Jhansi.

Nelson offers to meet the Queen of Jhansi at an isolated place to decide the conditions.

On meeting the queen, Nelson agrees with Laxmbai's condition to leave the fort for the release of Robert Hamilton. Laxmibai is shocked when Nelson asks her to choose between her fort or Major Ellis. He commands his soldiers to torture Major Ellis.

Laxmibai shares her dilemma with her subjects. She is shocked when she is advised to chose Jhansi fort and not Major Ellis.

Laxmibai resolves to win the fort back from the British. She informs her subjects about her plans to meet Nelson the next day. She also resolves to release Robert Hamilton.

The story takes an interesting turn when the subjects assemble in large numbers and demand the release of Major Ellis. Laxmibai releases Robert Hamilton and declares war on the East India Company.

When Laxmibai releases Robert Hamilton, Nelson releases Major Ellis. Major Ellis thanks Laxmibai for saving his life.

In the January 31 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Laxmibai is hopeful of Major Ellis's recovery.

On receiving Nelson's message, Lord Dalhousie commands that reinforcements be rushed to Nelson's aid.

Confident that Nelson did not have the required strength to defend the fort; Laxmibai exhorts her soldiers to take on the Company and assures them of victory.

Nelson rejoices on learning that reinforcements were on their way and conveys the news to Robert Hamilton. Robert Hamilton is confident that with the additional troops, the Company will be able to conquer Jhansi.

While Laxmibai prepares to attack the British, Nelson and Robert Hamilton plan to encircle the Jhansi army and finish off the Queen.

Laxmibai thinks hard to sneak into the fort and catch the Company soldiers by surprise.

Laxmibai tells Damodar about Gangadhar Rao's life and the battles he fought. Laxmibai remembers about the secret passage which she used.

At the same time, Nelson learns about the secret passage.

In the February1episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Nelson discovers that the secret passage from the kitchen led outside the fort.

Meanwhile, Ghaus Khan leads a part of the Jhansi army towards the fort.

Tatya Tope spots Nelson in Gangadhar Rao's robes and crown. He promises Laxmibai that Nelson will have to pay for his sins.

Unknown to others, Rao Dulaju has been secretly communicating with Nelson. From the message sent by Nelson, Rao Dulaju learns that the Company official has discovered a secret tunnel from the fort. Nelson asks Rao Dulaju to inform Laxmibai about the tunnel and to ensure that Laxmibai, Tatya Tope and Raghunath try to enter the fort through the secret passage. Nelson informs Rao Dulaju that those who tried to enter the fort will be caught and beheaded.

There is no end to Rao Dulaju's happiness when Laxmibai announces her plan to enter the fort through the secret tunnel. However, Rao Dulaju's heart skips a beat when Laxmibai orders him to accompany her. Rao Dulaju tries to warn Nelson; however, he fails in his endeavor.

Tatya Tope asks Laxmibai to open the gates once she manages to enter the fort. According to Tatya Tope's plan, Laxmibai will lead a small contingent to sneak into the fort and open the gates. Tatya Tope will lead the remaining army to storm the fortress.

A British official sees Laxmibai trying to sneak into the fort. On entering, Laxmibai is happy to see a ray of light from the palace's kitchen.

Tataya Tope and his commanders discover the plot by the Company to foment trouble in Jhansi. They unearth the plot and try to foil the Company's plan.

Laxmibai realizes that she along with her soldiers is trapped in the tunnel. Rao Dulaju fears his end is near as he is confident Nelson would slaughter everyone. Nelson, meanwhile, gloats at his success in trapping Laxmibai.
