I am not sure why the writers insist on forcing Kinjal to marry a man against her will as some form of punishment for falling for Umang. I do not understand why her own brother, miserable in his own marriage, insists on forcing his own sister to marry a man against her wishes. It does not matter HOW wonderful ANYONE thinks he is on this forum or much you hate Kinjal, but the whole concept is wrong. OF course the writers will try to justify the decision is good to hold on to old age traditions that only the parents know what is best.
It is disappointing to watch a young girl beg and plead to her parents and family who did not get it that a young girl didn't want to marry a man who was not of her choice. She's already dealing with a betrayal and rather than realize she has learned her lesson, they've decided to punish her further and dig themselves deeper into a grave by building relations with a woman they loathe. Koila deserves everything she gets at this point. She hated the rishta in the first place and when she had the choice to back out of it, she went ahead with the decision. So what if two weddings are called off, no longer is forever doomed without a ristha unless is unattractive. I've seen plenty of rich girls with bad reputations (sleeping around etc) find good rishtas. We need to get out of this 19th century thought pattern and quit ruining the lives of so many women.

This must have been wrong if the girl did not fall to such a low as to fake pregnancy for marrying umang....If and only if she did not spoil the name of the family will this forced marriage have been wrong....it was clearly conveyed by kokila in last week's episode......

Thanks, agree with most of what you have written.
There is no doubt that what Kinjal did was wrong.....very wrong..........but to answer a wrong behaviour with another wrong behaviour is not what sensible, cultured and humane people will do.
Frankly, though they are the focus, I am not impressed with Koki and her family. And therefore dont understand what Koki is so proud about and whats the big deal with her and Aham.
She has a non-focused husband and a son who didnt mind his sister eventually getting married to an unsophisticated guy but who himself has a very petty view of things as far as Gopi is concerned, and a daughter who is as far away from sanity or values as chalk is from cheese.
Hetal and her family on the other hand seem much more nicer and sensible and if I were Rashi I would get my act together and count my blessings to have been married to Jigar, with doting parents in law like Chirag and Hetal.
SNS, ....like all other serials gives far too much importance to the not so nice family while ignoring the family that is frankly much more better to look forward too after a hard day in oyur lives.

R U saying you agree with this marriage because of what Koila said in an earlier episode? Meaning that since she "ruined" the name of the family this forced marriage must happen to "cleanse" the families reputation? That sounds like sacrificing your daughter and punishing her by marrying her off to a horrible family and a man she does not love. Sounds very unjust and cruel to me.
