Sweet-Violet, you're not looking at the situation. It's not his parents love he craved.. it was DS' love. Time and time again he was compared to Sid. That created low self esteem within him and that made his anger towards Sid grow and grow.

These things happen within children when one is compared to another especially if the kid is already sensitive to begin with. Because Viren was always compared to Sid, he always compared himself to Sid and always saw himself losing. Even though his parents loved him, he doesn't feel worthy of it--of anyone's love. Because of that, he is taking it out on Sid who bechara has done nothing wrong to Viren.

Child should be talked to nicely and tell me he should try it for certain amount of time and his family always love him no matter what.

As for Viren's actions, any reason wouldn't justify it.
har kisi ko sab kuch nahin milta
kisi ko jameen to kisi ko asman nahin milta

that doesn't mean everyone resort to wrong path to teach lesson/revenge.

But still loveViren😳, you go buddy, give it them!

I agree. I don't think taking revenge was justified, however, I understand his pain which is why I'm not hating him. I understand that what Viren is now is due to DS' mistakes.

Sadly this happened with Viren. Revenge is not the answer to a rational mind. people who filled with this much anger and hatred will not understand as far as they are concerned, they are doing is correct, its like tit for tat. You gave me pain I will give you pain also

Whether DS's decision is right or wrong that's another debate. lol The point is the plot makes no sense at all and things don't add up. In a joint family like this, the elder male child is usually given preference and is considered the role model for other kids. But here they have taken things to another level.
DS did what he thought was right at that time. It was his parents duty and responsibility to take care of their son. If he isn't willing to come home for holidays then they should make him understand and talked with DS about the situation. I don't even understand how can a chilld have this much say that he can refuse to come home and no one objects. So basically his parents didn't care. For them, it must be like jaan chuti. lol

Just by showing 2-3 random FB scenes and twisting with basic characteristics of other characters they can't gain sympathy for Viren.

EXACTLY!!!! The plot makes no sense. The way they have executed this part of the story is not convincing. CTs just included a few flashback scenes which have shown unfair judgement made by DS. Dont tell me that Viren has never had happy moments in his life. And even for DS, when I saw the flashback scenes, I was like, HUH?? How could DS act in such a way?? I'd have to say the CTs have just made DS's character negative to show that Viren's wrongdoings are justifiable.

I do understand his frustration, but not his ways to seek revenge. I also mentioned that his parents and to some extent his grandfather are responsible for his condition. The Cvs did a bad job in handling this track. Its like they were sure he was going to be the stalker but didn't give a solid reason for his hatred against Sid. Instead of a showing a mental trauma, they turned him into an insecure kid.

exactly I don't agree with his revenge plan/actions, but I understand where he is coming from. I think that's how Nivi feels too.

more than Dadaji, I hold his parents responsible for allowing others to make life-altering decision for their child.

What makes you say that ? lol Just cos I have a different view on this situation. 😆 Anyways, he is craving for his grandfather's love and affection and has grudge against Sid.

Yes, I agree that having comparisons between kids or even two human beings will provoke jealousy. I have gone through that. It can be heart-breaking especially if it comes from someone who you love the most. However, what I'm talking about is the fact that the storyline is fractured. It has not been executed properly. Viren was always shown to love DS but because they showed Viren as the stalker, they had to make it justifiable. It's just that the reasons are not convincing enough. And the way DS has acted in today's episode or even in the flashback scenes, it's not coherent with his character sketch.
