Me too miss his GOLDEN touch.. was listening to Jai Ho yesterday.. its not that bad also 😆 He still suprise us with some good numbers once a while atleast..Now we will have to wait until he gets back to film world again..

FYI: He has taken LEAVE from doing filmy music for a year, he is taking a break. that means no Rahman music for a year to come and we will get to listen to his work only by next year. Now Yuvan Shankar Raja also is taking a break.. 😆

So its BREAKTIME in music world🤪

@ Additi_sjfan : Yes dear, thats exactly my point. You have said it so wonderfully👏.. Those old creations of ARR can be heard N times without skipping them.. I do that daily and I knw how it feels😳. It takes me to a new world. I complete all my works hearing them.
But when it comes to Raavan, Endhiran, Blue I was keen on listening them but only for a month or so after that I started skipping the songs too..

Its not that I dont like them. I love the new trend and genre he used in both the movies👏. Specially the starting of Behne De⭐️ and the way they sang Irumbile,Puthiya Manidha was all a new attempt but sadly andha Jeans,Putihya Mugam kinda feel is not there😭 ,where u can go on hearing it in repeat.

[my pick would be old music.... its still is a joy to listen to them.. n my all-time fav album is kandukondein kandukondein... love the movie n music...]

I second that yaar... I love all his works but Kandukondain Kandukondain has a special place in my heart😳.

I too am hoping that he gives us Munbe Vaa like songs soon.. I am liking his way of experimenting and coming with all new trendy stuff but still once in a while i think he should think of bringing back his old touch too.. Really waiting eagerly for another masterpiece like Munbe Vaa and Mannipaaya⭐️

@ x.sunayna.x : Thats wht all are telling. Thats the hot topic when it comes to ARR. His music is like universal.. Music has no Language.We need not be well verse in a lang to enjoy good music.. I listen to all kinds of music and songs.. So in that aspect I am happy and proud of wht ARR is doing..

@ sandz : Hey Sandy there u are... Thank u dear.. I agree with your point here. I can very well tell about some songs which seem quite similar but its the Raaga which makes us feel so..

Most of the songs like Sudum Nilavu,Kangal Irandaal, and many other songs seem very similar as its based on the same Raga. I think Reethi Gowla (i'm not that good in identifying Ragas..). Even the Malayalam Song Pitchavetcha Naal sounds like its from the same Raga.. First when I heard Sudum nilavu, something reminded me of Azhagana Rakshasi from Mudhalvan.So again Reethi Gowla strikes I think.

So on that point its true people could thing we are given the same stuff nu but still namma ARR can do wonders and I'm sure he wont keep us waiting for long😳

@ fuzzyface : I had a lot of expectation hearing the songs from Endhiran about the video but it was not upto the mark. Still I like Kadhal Anukkal and Irumbile from that movie.. Raavan for me the movie was better in Tamil but the audio was better in Hindi with the lyrics.. Ranja Ranja was better than Kaattu Sirukki (thats what I felt)Thats the same case with Jodha Akbar.. I am still in love with that song 'Jashn' from JA but in hindi version🤗. I heard the tamil version only once..(But for that we cant blame poor ARR its about the lyrics dint and the singers match the feel of the song. thats wht i felt)

Swades songs are my fav but I am not so keen about Desam (the tamil version)

Endhiran is best in Tamil for songs.. I dint listen to telugu but I listened to Hindi only once... Unfortunately they was destroyed the whole Irumbile song feel in Hindi.. hats off to our Karky for the awesome lyrics.. Original version is always best. Be it Hindi,Tamil or any lang

@ Aishumaa : VTV was just awesome. I still can listen to Omana Penne,Hosana and Mannipaya but ippo ellam avaroda frequency of giving a full album hit is coming down.. Seekrame adhu maaranum nu I'm praying to God..

As he says Ellam Pugazhum Iraivanukke..
