@Jaya, Mony and Maryadafan: Wasnt Vidya's Sindoori Raat much after she and Gaurav got married?? I remember it was much later after all the Devi Mandir visit. Didnt Gaurav and Vidya share a room there?? I think Sindoori raat may be a rasam where in husband and wife consummate on that particular auspicious night to try and conceive. So here probably its more like a cultural event as opposed to what it is actually supposed to signify! Just my guess....corrections welcome 😃

as far as priya being in the mandir i think she will use some excuse of fullfilling her mannat of marryring aditya.and also she gather courage to face her battles and take some vows to destroy ssp.

overall i think todays episode is ok moved slightly slow but was right at this stage because priya needed this time to take in the truth.

@Maryadafan: For me, Priya's excuse needs to be believable in terms of explaining why Priya left the house suddenly without telling anybody and at the same time not make him or Devyani suspicious.

Naomi, Mansa Devi was the temple the Jhaakars and Pradhans went to in the very beginning of the show. Sindoori Raat was the ceremony for Vidya and Gaurav's "first night". This was followed by the party where when all the ladies got drunk...remember?

Finally the last temple scene...ok, frankly I liked this part. I know Jaya says its FILMY...but frankly anyone troubled, unless a strong atheist would always land up at a temple seeking solutions. We humans are cowards, we like to run away from our problems as much as possible and always end up blaming the universe and the divine existence for them. 😆

For most part I think we liked the same things. The woman talking to Vidya is her mother who is also aware of the marital situation between Gaurav and Vidya. I agree...her message was meant to make Vidya realize there was more than meets the eye with Gaurav!

About the temple sequence...I have no problem with Priya breaking down in a temple...none at all. I did not like the execution of the scene itself with the empty temple etc...that was filmy for me. It could have been done differently within the temple.

Yup...Vidya's Sindoori Raat was after they came back from Mansa Devi. But I also have a vague recollection of Aditya wondering when his turn will come or being teased about his future Sindoori Raat by the guys during that party...or something like that.
