My OS Obsession (13/2.... 5 OS's written!)

Heyy People,

Vandy gave me the idea to open up a thread just for my OS's, seeing as I have so many and I can't keep track of them when someone asks to see them! 😆. So thaanks Vandy!

I've sorted them out in date order but if anyone sees any of mine that aren't there, let me know! 🤣

There's a mixture of Paagal Onu OS's and TaAnu OS's so enjoooy and let me know what you think!

P.S This will be a daily thing so don't worry, there'll be plenty more!😆

OS 1

Onu watched Taani run off and quickly proceeded to follow her when he was stopped by his mother.

"Onu? Tu kahaan jaaraha hai?" she smiled
"Maa, mujhe Taani se baat karni hai"
"Baad main karle. Chal, aah" she said leading him to where Robbie and Jonaki were stood.

Onu kept scanning the room to see where Taani could appear out of, but she was nowhere to be seen, neither was Laboni maa.

"Maa?"
"Haan?"
"Main abhi aaya" he said and she nodded
"Acha, theek hai. Jaa"

Onu walked down the corridor that Taani disappeared into and heard voices coming from one of the rooms.

He slowly approached the room and recognised the voices, it was Taani and Laboni maa.

"Maa, aap ne kyun baat kiya usse? Aapko pata hai ke vo nahin sun-ne vaala"
"Taani, tu meri baat diyaan se sun, main tujhe yeh nahin karne doonghi" Laboni told her "bilkul nahin karnedoonghi!" she cried.

Onu overheard, confused.Why was Laboni maa crying? What was Taani going to do? What was going on?

"Maa" Taani sighed "main aapko kitni baar samjhaoon? Mujhe yeh karna hoga. Aap Onu ke baare main sochiye" she said and Laboni let out a sigh of frustration.

Onu stood there, even more confused. What was she going to do now? What other sacrifice would Taani make for his sake?

"Maa, aap..." Taani stopped midway. Onu hid around the corner as he saw Taani's shadow leave the room but Taani went back into the room and lowered her voice. "maa? Aap yeh baat ko yahin khatam kariye. Kohi aajaayegha. Mujhe ab yehkarni pareghi"

"Onu? Tu yahaan?" a voice said and he swung to see his mother stood there.
"Haan maa. Main Taani ko doondraha tha." he said and Taani and Laboni appeared in front of them.

"Di? Aap yahaan hain. Main aapko kab se doondrahi thi" she smiled
"Haan, vo main..." she trailed off. Onu watched Taani stood there uncomfortably, not meeting his gaze. She wasn't going to tell him so easily. He knew Taani that much.

"Chalo di, Taani"
"Haan, chal" Laboni said looking at Taani helplessly before walking off with Neelu.

Onu took Taani's arm to stop her. He heard her sigh quietly before turning to him. "kya hua Onu? Chal na" she told hi
"Taani?" he said looking down at her hands as he took them in hers.
"Haan?"
"Sab theek to hai na?" he asked, knowing full well what she'd say. But that wasn't important, right now, reading her eyes was much more important to him.

"Haan Onu, sab theek hai" she told him, smiling as her eyes gave him the false hope that he was expecting.
"To phir pehle kya tha? Tu itni pareshan kyun thi? Huh?"
"Vo?" she asked, taking a second to think of something as Onu nodded in reply. "vo main to bas, aise hi.."
"Acha?" he asked
"Haan. Tujhe to pata hain na Onu, main bas aise kabraahjaati hoon"
"Taani?" Laboni called.
"Aayi maa!" she called back "chal" she smiled "sab intezaar kar-rahe honge" she said and he watched her walk off.

Onu sighed, running his hand through his hair. He was beginning to get worried. Not for himself, more for Taani. But how was he going to help her when he didn't know what was going on? If Taani wouldn't tell him herself, he had to find out some other way.

OS 2

"Onu?" Neelu approached him as he was sitting on the sofa, away from the others. "Tu yahaan akele kyun bayta hai? Aah. Sab ke saath aake bayt na" she said trying to help him up.
"Maa" he stopped her "main thodi dehr main aata hoon" he told her
"Acha. Theek hai" she said, turning to walk away
"Maa?" Onu got up as she turned to face him.
"Haan? Kya baat hai?"
"Vo..." he paused "Taani kahaan gayi hai?"
"Vo mere kamre main se thoda samaan lene ke liye gayi hai" she smiled
"Acha, theek hai" he nodded and she walked off.

Onu looked up to the balcony. He had to find out what she was hiding from him. It was eating him up.

He proceeded to make his way up the stairs and approached his room and stopped when he heard footsteps coming down the corridor. As an impulse, he quickly hid in his room and closed the door, leaning on it in order to hear what was going on outside.

"Taani?" a voice said "tum yahaan ho?" It was Ritesh.
"Kya chaahiye aapko?" she asked, irritated.
"Kuch nahin, bas, yeh kaagaz pe apna dastakhat karle" he said "vo kya hai na, ke jab Laboni maa ne paardiya to maine socha ke ek banvaadehte hain. To yeh lo" he said
"Dekhiye maine kahaa aapse"
"Aur maine bhi kaha" he snarled "ke agar to chup chap meri baat nahin maaneghi, to tujhe to pata hai ke kya hoga" he told her. "to yeh lo, aur chup chaap apna dastakhat karlo" he said
"Lekin Onu..."
"Maine kaha na" he told her "ke jis din hamari shaadi hogi, ussi din main Anurag ko jail se churvaadoongha" he said
"Par..."
"Ab yeh lekin vekin chordo aur sign karlo varna theek nahin hoga" he said practically shoving the paper into her hand before walking off.

Onu stood there, confused, angry, hurt. He couldn't keep control of his emotions as he realised the enormity of the situation. He slowly approached his window to see Taani stood there, crying silently to herself.

He stared at her helplessly as she quickly wiped her eyes and put the paper away before taking a deep breath and walking back downstairs.

All this time.... All this time Taani was keeping such a big secret hidden inside herself. All this time she was smiling to the world. Pretending that everything was okay. But deep down she was shattering inside. And Onu hadn't even noticed.

Onu rested his forehead on the window and sighed. How was he ever going to get out of this mess? How was he ever going to save his Taani.

OS 3

Onu swung his bedroom door open in anger and began to make his way downstairs. He stopped when he saw her standing there, quietly listening as she stood with Neelu, Laboni, Jonaki and Mauli.

Why did she always have to do this? Why did she always have to put herself on the line, just for him?

She looked up and saw him, sending a smile his way. He didn't smile back. How could he? How could he smile and pretend that everything was okay, when it wasn't: It was far from okay.

He continued making his way downstairs and Taani watched him in confusion as he made his way over to her. "Taani, mujhe tujhse ek zaroori baat karni hai" he told her taking her hand, about to walk off
"Onu...?" Taani said confused
"Kya baat hai Onu?" Neelu asked
"Haan, kya hua Baba?" Laboni asked worriedly, noticing the anger on his face.
"Ek minute maa" he told them both and looked towards Taani "Mujhe Taani se bohat zaroori baat karni hai" he said as Taani turned to Laboni, exchanging looks.
"Anurag? Kya baat hai?" Shekhar asked
"Tu abhi bhi nahin boleghi na?" he asked Taani, who looked away. "Taani, main tujhse kuch poochraha hoon" he said softly and took hold of her shoulders gently and turned her to face him properly. The tears had already formed in her eyes as she tried to look away. They both knew what he was talking about.

"Onu, baat kya hai?" Neelu asked
"Main bathaatha hoon" he said, still staring at Taani.
"Onu... nahin" she pleaded and he sighed.
"Theek hai" he said "mere saath chal phir" he said taking her hand and made his way out of the house as the rest of the family looked on in confusion.

OS 4

Onu let go of Taani's hand when they got out of the house and sighed.

"Onu, tu meri baat sun" she pleaded
"Kya sunoon Taani?" he asked, turning to her "kya sunoon main?!" he exclaimed "tu mujhe churvaane ke liye..." he stopped mid-sentence. He couldn't even say it. He grabbed her shoulders. "kyun Taani?" he asked her helplessly. "kyun kar-rahi hai yeh sab?" he asked
"To kya karoon main Onu?" she cried, just as helpless. "Aur kya karsakti main?" she asked and he turned away from her, frustrated.

"Maine tujhse hazaar baar kaha hai" she told him "main tujhe taqleef main nahin dekhsakthi" she cried and he closed his eyes. "mujhse bardaasht nahin hota jab main tujhe aise dekhti hoon" she cried and he opened his eyes.
"Lekin Taani.."
"Onu" she said. It was all she had to say and he stopped, turning to her. Tears were running down her cheeks, he jumped at once to wipe them away. "agar mera kuch karne se tujhe jail na jaana pare, to main yeh mauka kaise jaane dehsakti?" she asked.
"Par Taani agar tujhe us insaan se shaadi karni hai to jaane mujhe jail!" he exclaimed "hone de mujhe paansi!" he said but she shook her head, her hand landing on his mouth as she broke down in tears.
"Onu..."
"Nahin Taani" he said cupping her cheeks, composing himself. "bohat hochuka" he told her "ab main baytne vaala nahin hoon"
"Onu..." she pulled his arm "kya karegha tu?"
"Pehle to us Ritesh ko..." he snarled angrily.
"Nahin Onu. Uske paas mat jaana. Vo..."
"Taani" he said "main aise nahin baytsaktha"
"Onu.."
"Nahin.." he said walking off but stopped at once when Taani spoke
"Onu, agar tu mujhse pyaar kartha hai to tu kahin nahin jaayegha" she said repeating more or less what he had said to her when she tried to leave him. He stopped as soon as she had finished the sentence and immediately turned to look at her stood there helpless and crying.

His legs couldn't move fast enough when he rushed back to wrap his arms around her, holding her close and trying his best to protect her in a sense, from all the evil in the world.

OS 5

"Ab kya karenghe Onu?" Taani asked looking up at him. He wiped her eyes with his thumb.
"Main bataatha hoon ke kya karenghe" he told her. He was about to go against everything he had said to her, that he had said to the rest of his family. He didn't want to ruin her life by taking this step but he couldn't sit back and let her make the ultimate sacrifice for him. It was time he stepped up. It was time he stepped up to protect the one person that mattered the most to him.

Onu took her hand and instead of walking back to the house, as Taani expected him to, he walked towards the main gates of the house.

"Onu? Kahaan jaaraha hai?" she asked but he didn't say anything. He just looked at her as he always did, with his love for her written all over his face and a different emotion with it. Not anger or fear but with a sense of peace. A sense of satisfaction. As if he was doing exactly what needed to be done. "Onu.." she pleaded so he stopped and turned to her.

He cupped her cheeks in his hands and she held them there."Tujhe mujhpe barosa hai na?" he asked.
"Haan. Hai" she told him truthfully. Of course she did. There was no one in the world that she could trust more.
"To phir chal mere saath" he said taking her hand in his oncemore and walked off. Taani silently obeyed him despite calls coming from behind them from their families.

They ended up at the same mandir that Taani was just at with Ritesh. She looked up and saw the same Pandit.

"Onu.." she began
"Kya?" he asked as he took his shoes off and Taani followed suit.
"Hum yahaan?" she asked, confused. He took both of her hands in his and looked at them before staring into her eyes.
"Haan. Hum abhi, issi waqt shaadi karenghe" he told her. She saw the look in his eyes. He was more than serious about this.
"Kya?" she asked, a gentle whisper
"Haan" he told her
"Lekin Onu..." she trailed off as he shook his head.
"Ab mujhe kuch nahin sun-na hai Taani" he said "pehle mahoorat ke vajhe se hum dono shaadi nahin karpaaye. To phir yeh court case..." he said "Taani maine Ananya Di se waada kiya" he told her "ke main tujhse hi shaadi karoongha. Aur vo main karke rahoongha." he told her
"Par.."
"Taani" he stopped her "tu mujhse pyaar karti hai na?"
"Haan Onu, karti hoon" she said
"To phir? Jab pyaar kiya to darna kya?" he said, making her smile and feel at ease. "chal" he smiled taking her hand again.

She followed him as he made his way to the pandit and explained their intentions. As Onu spoke to the Pandit, Taani stood there uncomfortably, knowing he had recognised her from earlier, especially since Laboni turned up and tore the piece of paper with Taani and Ritesh's signature's on it.

"Kya baat hai Pandit Jee?" he followed the Pandit's gaze to Taani.
"Yeh.."
"Taani" he told him "Taani Bannerjee"
"Haan, yeh to thodi dehr pehle aayi thi" he explained "kisi aur ke saath" he said quietly to avoid embarrassment but clearly pointing a finger at her character. Onu didn't turn to look at Taani when he heard this new piece of information. He didn't have to.
"Haan, vo uski majboori thi" he explained "lekin aap bataaye. Kya aap hamari shaadi karvaadenghe ya nahin?"
"Theek hai" he replied reluctantly. He didn't understand the situation. He didn't have to. Onu spoke and he just did as he was told to.

Onu turned to Taani. "Onu, sab gharvaale..?"
"Hum baad main samjhaadenghe. Tu unki chinta mat kar" he comforted her. "chal, shaadi karte hain" he said with a smile. She couldn't help but smile back as the Pandit sat down and began giving them a set of instructions.

Onu and Taani sat down, listening attentively as the Pandit spoke about the sacred bond of marriage. Onu glanced over at Taani who was listening with such interest that was clear on her face.

He knew she had been waiting for this day for so long. Especially since he had scared her about the whole divorce.

She turned to look at him and nodded at him as a gesture to ask what was the matter. He shook his head, smiling before taking her hand and listened to the Pandit as he spoke.

This was what needed to be done. Right now it was the only thing that married.

The Pandit told the two of them to stand for the phere.

As Taani began to follow Onu around the sacred fire they heard a voice call for them to stop. Taani stopped but Onu didn't.

OS 6

"Onu..." Taani tried to get his attention. To get him to stop, but he wouldn't.
"Chalo Taani" he told her over his shoulder.
"Par Onu, vo" Taani protested, worriedly, seeing Ritesh approaching them
"Taani" he said softly and glanced at her. He nodded at her in a way that assured her she had nothing to worry about.

"Pandit jee! Rukhiye!" he tried to stop him but Onu gave the Pandit a look for him to continue. And he did.

It was now Taani turn to walk in front of him and she did so.

"Maine kaha ke rukhiye!" he exclaimed, helplessly pacing before leaning forward to undo the cloth that was holding them together but Onu stopped him. Ritesh looked up at Onu and Taani had stopped, worried that something was going to happen. Onu took Ritesh's hand and pushed it away with such force.
"Onu!" Taani panic
"Maine kaha na tujhse" he snarled at Taani "kaha tha na!" he exclaimed "mujhe pata tha" he told her "mujhe pata tha ke tu barose laik hai hi nahi!" he told her and that's when Onu spoke calmly.
"Aap yahaan se jaaye varna main bhuloongha ke aap meri Di ke pati the, ke aap meri bhanji aur bhanjha ke baap ho aur hum yahaan is waqt Mandir main karre hai" he told him
"Tujhe kya lagta hai? Mujhe is shaadi se kohi farak paregha?" he chuckled "Arre nahin Anurag, maine teri Taani se yahi bhi kaha hai" he said looking at Taani. "yeh mere liye itni important nahin hai jitna tujhe jail se nikaalne ke Taani ke liye hai" he smiled smugly. "aur tum dono ke is harqat se, main tujhe jail ponchaa doongha" he said "arre jail hi kya?" he lowered his voice "main tujhe pansi thak ponchaa doongha" he snarled, smirking. "ab dekh kya rahe ho? Shaadi karlo. Mahoorat beeta jaaraha hai" he stepped back "Pandit jee, shaadi ki rasm ko pura kariye na?" he said "continue, continue" he folded his arms, satisfied.

"Onu..."
"Taani, tu iski baat se darna mat" he said, still glaring at Ritesh. "isko jo karna hai, shok se kare. Humme kohi farak nahin parta" he said and turned to the Pandit. "Pandit Jee?"
"Shaadi sampaandh huwi hai. Ab aap dono aaj se pari patni hai" he said and they heard slow clapping. They turned to see Ritesh still stood there, watching them.

Onu turned to take a small box of vermillion from the Pandit and turned back to face Taani. She looked up at him worriedly. But he had not even a shadow of worry on his face.

He took some vermillion and Taani closed her eyes as he put it on the tip of her forehead.

They finally did it. Taani was finally Onu's patni.

OS 7

"Vah! Mubarak ho!" Ritesh clapped "ab kya hoga? I mean kohi party ya kuch hona chaahiye?" he said "pata nahin, yeh Anurag ki aakhri party ho" he smirked at Taani.

Onu took Taani's hand and walked out, quickly followed by Ritesh. "kya hua Taani?" he asked as Taani and Onu put their shoes on. "tum to pareshan dikrahi ho" he pointed out "arre tujhe to khush honi chaahiye" he said "Ab tum dono shaadishuda ho. Khushi ki baat hai na?" he said and Onu turned to him, giving him a look of pure hatred before walking off with Taani.

"Onu?" she said and he looked down at her. "ab kya karenghe? Baba, Neelu Maa, Maa, in sab ko kya javaab denghe?"
"Kya javaab dehni Taani? Hum dono ne chaaha, to humne shaadi ki" he shrugged
"Onu..."
"Taani" he said softly and turned to her. "tu us Ritesh ke baare meh fikkar kar-rahi hai, hain na?"
"Haan Onu vo..."
"Vo kuch nahin karpaayegha"
"Matlab?"
"Bas, yahi. Ke vo chaahe jitna koshish karna chaahe, vo mujhe jail tak nahin ponchaasakta"
"Par Onu, vo subooth..."
"Kis subooth ke baare main baat kar-rahi ho?" he asked "vo video?" he asked and Taani's eyes widened as she looked up at him. How did he know? "Vohi na? Tu pareshaan mat ho. Vo subooth mere paas hai"
"Tere paas?"
"Haan. Aur main jaldi se us subooth ko police ko doongha"
"Par Onu... kaise"
"Tu uske baare meh mat soch" he told her "hamari shaadi huwi hai" he smiled and she smiled back. "Ab humme kohi alag nahin karsakta Taani" he told her "ab chalo, ghar chalte hain" he said taking her hand in his and they made their way home.

They walked in and saw the family members standing and sitting around, with worried looks on their faces.

"Taani? Yeh....?" Laboni pointed to the sindhoor on her forehead.
"Maine aur Taani ne Kaali Maa ke Mandir main abhi shaadi karli" he told them and everyone stood there in shock.
"Kya?!" Neelu asked
"Yeh kya kehrahe ho Anurag?" his father asked but not in his usual, bellowing tone but in a much softer tone
"Taani... tu?" Laboni began, confused
"Is se pehle ke aap sab pareshaan ho, main aapko bataatha hoon ke kya huwa" he told them and began explaining the situation that found Taani and Onu to marry in such haste.

"Us Ritesh ki itni himmat?!" Shekhar exclaimed as Neelu approached Taani and put her hand on Taani's cheek.
"Taani, tune kuch kaha kyun nahin?" Neelu asked tearfully
"Maa, main..." Taani trailed off
"Darti thi" Onu spoke for her as he looked at her. "darti thi ke aap usse rokhlenghe to is liye kisi se kuch nahin kaha"
"Taani" Neelu shook her head, still crying.
"Maa" she wiped Neelu's eyes.

"Maine sahi kiya na Maa?" Onu asked Neelu then turned to Laboni who approached them.
"Haan" Neelu smiled
"Bilkul sahi kiya baba" she said as he leant down so she could kiss his forehead. She smiled and turned to Taani.
"Maa" she said tearfully and hugged her mother.
"Ab tu kyun rorahi hai?" she asked, feeling teary herself as they pulled apart "Kaali Maa ne sab theek kardiya na?" she asked and Taani nodded, wiping her eyes.
"Isko to aadat hai rone ki, Maa" Onu teased and Taani chuckled, wiping her eyes as everyone else smiled.

"Ab main aur Taani sab mushkilon ko saath main saamna karenghe" Onu said, promising Taani and she smiled in reply, nodding.

27^th Jan

OS 1

"Onu!" Taani banged on the bathroom door but no reply "Onu!" she banged impatiently.
"Ruk na Taani!" he called back
"Jaldi kar! Kitna time lagaatha hai?!" she exclaimed from outside.
"Taani! Do minute rukheghi kya? Abhi aatha hoon"
"Jaldi kar!" she told him then the bathroom door opened and Anurag walked, changed.
"Lo! Main aagaya"
"Shukkar hai!" she shook her head "arre Onu" she coughed
"Kya?"
"Vo badboo kya hai?"
"Badboo?" he asked confused then caught on. "stupid, vo mera perfume hai"
"Idiot" she countered "vo perfume nahin, sach main badboo hai" she coughed, protecting herself from the smell.
"Maa!" Onu complained
"Ab kya hua baba?" Laboni appeared in front of them.
"Isne mujhe idiot kaha"
"Tune bhi to mujhe stupid pehle kaha!"
"Haan lekin tune shuru kiya"
"Acha? To tu khatam karegha?" she challenged
"Haan! Kya kareghi tu?" he asked
"Tum dono bhi na!" Laboni shook her head, leaving them to it.

"Kya karoonghi main?" she asked him
"Haan"
"Abhi bataathi hoon" she said walking into the bathrooom.
"Taani..." he said worriedly, not knowing what to expect until she came out with a bucket of water. "Taani!" he exclaimed, walking back
"Tu kuch bol raha tha na?" she asked "to bol na"
"Taani. Vahin ruk" he warned her as he slowly backed up to the door to the garden. "maine kahake vahin ruk!" he insisted.
"Nahin, nahin Onu. Tu to abhi kuch bolraha tha. Khatam kar na" she asked then Onu snatched the bucket out of Taani's hand and threw it on the floor.

"Onu!" she exclaimed and he pulled her arm so that she came crashing into him.
"Kya?" he asked
"Kuch nahin" she told and smiled "mujhe jaane de" she told him, not looking up.
"Acha? Jaane doon?"
"Onu, jaane de na" she complained and looked up to see him watching her and their eyes locked.

These moments. If only these moments were to freeze them in time. If only these moments could last forever. If only they didn't have to worry about tomorrow and just live for today.

"Ab main chalta hoon" Onu was the one to break the stare.
"Acha" she smiled, stepping back
"Tu poocheghi bhi nahin ke main kahaan jaaraha hoon?" he asked "tu bhi na Taani" he tutted "main ek din kahin chalajaata aur tujhe kuch pata bhi nahin chalta" he smiled and all of a sudden Taani'd face fell.

She turned her back to him and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. She felt his arms circle her waist before him resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Sorry" he said in her ear. "main Jonaki se milne jaaraha hoon" he said and Taani turned to face him.
"Jonaki se?" she asked. Confused
"Haan"
"Lekin kyun Onu?"
"Usse Robbie ke baare main baat karni hai"
"Acha" Taani nodded

"To main jaoon?" he asked and she smiled, nodding
"Haan, jaa"
"Main tujhse baad main miloongha"
"Theek hai" she said and he leant forward to place a kiss on her forehead before she watched him leave.

1^st feb

OS 1

Taani walked into the room and saw Onu was sat on his mattress, resting his back on the wall and staring down at the floor, in front of him.

"Onu?" she said but he didn't look up. He just ignored her.
"Kuch dino se vo bohat ghumsum hai. Pata nahin kyun"
"Kya?" she asked and turned to make her way over to him."Onu?" she said, touching his hair to get his attention. He took her hand from his hair and removed it before looking ip at her, sadly. "Kya hua Onu?" she asked worriedly as she bent down in front of him.

He refused to look at her. Where had she been for the past few days? She hadn't come to see him. She'd forgotten all about him.

He turned his back to her and faced the wall, running his hand over his art work.

"Onu? Tu ghussa hai mujhse?" she asked. He turned his head slightly to look at her and nodded before looking away again. She got up and sat beside him, turning his chin to look at her. "main jaanthi hoon ke main bohat dino se nahin aayi lekin...." she tried to explain but he looked away.

"Mere taraf nahin dekhegha?" she asked and he shook his head. "Onu?" she saidtrying to get his attention. He looked up and saw her then looked away again.

"Theek hai" she sat down properly, her back resting on the wall. "main khud khaoonghi" she said opening her bag.

Onu was still facing the wall and casually glanced over to see Taani take a box of mitaai out of her bag and his face lit up. Taani looked up at him but he looked back at the wall. "baad main nahin kehna ke maine poocha nahin" she said taking a piece out of the box.

Onu leaned over to reach into the box, making Taani smile to herself, he saw her smiling and tried to suppress a smile himself but failed and smiled back.
