While my OTP is Ron/Hermione and I don't ship H/Hr, the most unusual relationship I find from amongst the Trio is that of Harry and Hermione.

Harry and Ron? Best chuddy-buddies.

Ron and Hermione? Best friends who fell in love

Harry and Hermione? Best friends who remained so.

And while we have seen numerous examples of the first 2 categories, the third category is rare.

The Godric's Hollow Harry-Hermione moment was one of the most beautiful moments ever. Just totally loved that part. It is rather telling that Rowling chose to have Harry's first complete break-down, not with Ron, not with Ginny...but with Hermione. He never has had a complete, utter breakdown of such epic proportions.They did share a very special, intense moment which was a wonderful ode to the Harry-Hermione relationship.

i reall like harry-hermoinee!!👏👏👏they r really v.gud couple. though now in books & movies harry-jinny & hermoinee-ron r made couple by JK but i think H-H relationship is more of trust, faith & understanding & isn't luk like forced1!!

@Eloquent - I completely agree with you. The godric's hollow moment between them was one of the most beautiful moments in the whole book. Their relationship has always been subtle and understated, yet I feel their bond is very strong, perhaps strongest in the trio.

Yup, in DH, it was. Because it was the only relation that did not break ultimately, whatever happened. I think it was in DH that it superseded most other relations, for me.
