Sandhya decides to hunt for Neeraj, while Damodar plans with Yuvraj to kill Sandhya for which they persuade Raghu Bhai in lieu of half the Jagirdar heritage and the duty is given to Gunge . Gunge joins Sandhya's house as a servant. His first attempt to kill Sandhya masked as an accident begins when he man-handles the domestic electricity arrangements to make way for Sandhya's death due to an electric shock.
Viewbie's note: Today's episode was an hour long episode, since Bandini is over, but the new serial doesn't start until tomorrow. Result: Rakt Sambandh accidentally becoming a mega episode, w/ the channel not bothering to tell us. Sandhya's murder attempt fails
Sandhya enters a dark room surprised to find no one has put lights on. She gropes in the dark room to reach for the switch while Gunge is monitoring all this hiding at a safe spot. Sandhya is about to touch it when Gayatri devi calls her from behind asking her to converse with her as she wants to discuss about a letter from the high court and instructs Gunge's friend Kailash to switch on the lights. Then she takes Sandhya out of the room while Kailash moves to switch on the light. Gunge sees this and rushes to prevent it and save him. Sandhya asks Gayatri about what was she so excited to which she replies that the day she had been waiting for had finally arrived and that her Gwalior banishment orders had been pardoned by the court and that she can stay in Gwalior from then on.
Meanwhile Kailash touches the man-handled switch and gets an electric shock. Gunge tries to save him by picking up a wooden stick and seperating him from the switch. His screams alert Gayatri and Sandhya and they rush in to find a shock-stricken Kailash and Gunge tending to him. While Gayatri is all praise for Gunge, Sandhya is in utter shock saying that its not Kailash but she who was saved by an inch since it was she who was going to turn the lights on if it hadn't been for Gayatri Devi.
Yuvraj Plans Revenge
Prabha is standing tensed in her cell, Sarla asks her about her worry and Prabha replies that it is regarding Yuvraj. Sarla tries to assure her that when Sandhya's father was killed, Yuvraj was performing marriage rituals with Sandhya and Sarla herself is a witness of all this and moreover they can even justify that all that happened was an accident and they deliberately didn't want to kill Sandhya's father so she feels that they won't be punished very harshly. Prabha says that she can understand all this but not Yuvraj and the mere utterance of jali and police makes him go insane. Then a lady constable arrives instructing them to stop talking and go to sleep. Prabha pleads to her to let her meet her son to which the constable snaps that if she is thinking this palce to be her home. Doesn't she know that men and women are locked up seperately and that they aren't allowed to meet? If she is desperate to meet her son she can only do that in court and moreover all her son does all day are just inasne antics and that he should've been in an insane asylum instead of jail. Prabha is infuriated at Yuvraj being called insane but is inatantly cooled down by a hit of the club of the constable. Sarla tends to her wounds and simultaneously keeps cursing Sandhya and reminding Prabha that it was her fault not listening to DK and her advice. But all Prabha does is worry about Yuvraj and his insanity.
In his cell, Yuvraj is frantically shouting and talking to himself pleading to imaginary people not to take off his clothes and then starts shouting that its not his fault and only God's mistake that he is like this. Then he starts demanding an explanation from God and arrives to a sudden conclusion that Sandhya should have died and he made a grave mistake in taking her side. He decides that Sandhya deserves punishment and that he will punish her and won't die before he takes complete revenge from her and if he does, he will die with her.
Sandhya remembers and recognizes Gunge
Sandhya is in her room in a pensive mood thinking when she spots something lying on the floor, which on observing closely comes out to be bits of wire which happen to match the wires forming a part of the switch board in Sandhya's room. Sandhya realises that the short-circuit was done deliberately and she was saved only because Gayatri Devi called her away.
The next morning Sandhya is in the living room thinking while Gunge and Kailash discuss how their plan failed. Sandhya thinks that the Jagirdars must definitely be planning against her and might also have been behind the accident that could have happened last night and thinks on who might be working on their behalf to kill her. Manik enters and scolds Gunge and Kailash on why they were wasting time doing the same work. Then he offers a newspaper to Sandhya asking her to read it. Sandhya is reluctant since she is not as fluent in reading yet on which Manki says that the newspapaers never contain anything new except theft-related news, just the names change and everybody in the country is a thief. Gunge stops working and begins staring at Manik with a displeased look. Sandhya takes leave to go to Lonavla but then she stops remembering the Gonsalves party and the thief she saw there. She remembers Gunge's face and recognises him and starts thinking on what can be his purpose to be there.
Yuvraj escapes, Sandhya finally gets to "see" Neeraj
The lady constable rushes in to inform Prabha that Yuvraj had fled away from the jail. Prabha and Sarla get worried.
Meanwhile Sandhya is trying to keep an eye on Gunge who comes up to Kailash hao has just recieved a call from Raghu who was really angry and demanding an explanation on how much time is Gunge gonna need to kill Sandhya. Sandhya overhears all this and now can put two and two together.
Manik comes to meet Sandhya telling her that he wanted to accompany her to Lonavla but she assures him that she'll be safe. Kailash overhears that and plans that he himself will kill Sandhya. Then he tampers with Sandhya's car and fails its brakes. In his room Gunge is planning to kill Sandhya in Lonavla and throw away her body right there in the jungle. He goes out looking for Kailash to discuss this while he is doing away with the brake-failing act.
At dawn, when Kailash wakes up he finds his hands tied up and Manik and Sandhya beside him asking about their plan and Gunge's whereabouts. Gunge sees them doing that and flees out. Manik and Sandhya lock Kailash in a room and Gunge thinks that he can reach Lonavla before Sandhya and wait there to kill her. Planning this he takes the car whose brakes had been failed by Kailash and leaves.
Manik tries to stop Sandhya from going frearing her life at risk. Sandhya then gets a call from Sakshi who informs her that she can get a picture of Neeraj because when they had gone missing, the Jagirdars had lied that Yuvraj had taken Sandhya to Switzerland and Neeraj and done a fraud in their company and gone missing. So she can get his picture from the advertisement the Jagirdars had given in the newspaper to find him. Sandhya tells this to Manik who in turn suggests that they look for the newspaper on the internet. Manik opens the epaper and they see Neeraj's picture and recognize him as Gunge.
Sandhya & Manik check on Gunge
Sandhya is shocked to see that the person who tried to kill her was actually Neeraj, while Manik is shocked that Neeraj is Gunge. He decides to check some other papers for his photo. He finds several papers that have the same reward photo, and he realizes that Gunge & Neeraj are one & the same. Sandhya starts crying and caressing the online photo, regretting that she couldn't recognize him, after all he did for her. But then she starts wondering why Neeraj wanted to kill her? Manik too wonders the same, and suggests that they interrogate Kailash.
Neeraj is driving away in the stolen car, while Manik beats up a bound Kailash, who gets scared and confesses. He tells him that Raghu-da found Gunge in the streets, and he too had no idea about his origins. He tells them that Gunge too didn't seem to have any recollection - since the time he joined them, he didn't say a word. Sandhya tells him that it's her Neeraj and that she needs to have him, and Kailash tells her that he's out to kill her and ain't going anywhere w/o doing it. She asks where he is, and Kailash asks for a phone. He tells Sandhya that Neeraj is on his way to Lonavala, and that he decided to get a head start on her, so that when she arrives there, he can kill her. He also tells Sandhya that he had come there w/ him, but when he saw that Kailash was captured, he escaped in her car, whose brakes he Kailash had sabotaged. Sandhya tells Manik that she doesn't want to lose Neeraj a 2nd time, and they both decide to leave so that they can save him. Kailash begs to be released, but Manik tells him that if anything happens to Neeraj, he'd pay! In the meantime, Yuvraj is on the prowl, and searches for Sandhya in Gayatri's house, while she & Manik are on their way to Neeraj.
Manik & Sandhya drive off to find Neeraj, and on the way, Sandhya notices a car that's just crashed, and they stop and discover Neeraj inside the car. They then take him out of the car. Manik gets the water, and Sandhya tries to wake Neeraj.
Yuvraj, Sandhya & Neeraj battle it out!!!
Suddenly, Manik is attacked from behind and felled - by YUVRAJ!!! Sandhya is shocked to see him, and Yuvraj tells her that he won't let his secret come out easily, and grabs her by the hair, and goes into his narcissist mode, where he tells her that all he wanted from her was a baby, and that she cheated him. In the meantime, Neeraj wakes up. Yuvraj continues about how he supported her against everyone else, and how she repaid him by sending them all to jail. 😆 Sandhya is defiant, but Yuvraj finally knocks her to the ground. He tells her that he wants to die, but he also wants to take her w/ him. He repeats the same things to her that she told him in the car when they were last together as Yuvsa, and tells her that it's time for them both to die together. In the meantime, Neeraj opens his eyes and gets flashbacks of what's happened as he sees them. As he watches Yuvraj bash Sandhya up, he gets flashbacks of how DK & Yuvraj beat him up. Finally, Yuvraj knocks Sandhya to the ground w/ a slap.
Yuvraj then picks up a boulder hoping to crash it on Sandhya, but Neeraj now calls him out - he's gotten back his voice - and punches him in the stomach, causing him to drop the rock. Neeraj tells him that after living like a dead man walking all these months, he's gotten back his memory and tells Yuvraj that forget about being a guy, he's unworthy to live. He then starts using all his acquired fighting skills and starts beating up Yuvraj. Yuvraj gains the upper hand @ times, and Sandhya too joins the battle against Yuvraj. The battle is taking place dangerously close to a ledge, and Neeraj is dangerously on the verge of being knocked over a cliff again. The battle is a see-saw one b/w the 2.
Suddenly, Yuvraj loses his footing & is about to fall, when Neeraj catches him w/ one hand, while Sandhya catches Neeraj w/ his other. Both of them try hard to pull Yuvraj, and Neeraj urges him to make an attempt to climb up. Yuvraj looks down and notices bushes similar to the one Neeraj had fallen to, and looks up and smiles a sly smile.
Yuvraj tells them that the people who were always his enemies are now trying to save him, but today, his secret will die w/ him. Both Sandhya & Neeraj assure him that nothing will happen to him. Sandhya tells him that she never wanted him dead - she just wanted to give justice to her father, and give him his due punishment. Yuvraj denies that he ever did anything wrong, and that if anyone did, it was Sandhya's God, who made him this way. If he hadn't, Yuvraj claims he'd have been just like everyone else, and he too wanted a family like others, and a kid and be called a dad, but it was not to be. He says that today, he has no grievances left against anyone but God, and that while God may not have answered him all these years, today HE'd have to, since he'll go to HIM himself & demand it. Both Neeraj & Sandhya try to stop him and tell him to come up, but Yuvraj slowly releases his grip, and tells them that his time has arrived, and to forgive him if they could.
He then lets go, and starts hurtling down the khai, while Neeraj & Sandhya both look horrified.
