10+ people coming over for dinner

If I have 10+ people coming over for dinner...I either spend the day cooking for them. Or I invite 10 more people and cater the entire evening...And we are not as rich as the Modi by looking at the Modi Bhaven.

And reagarding wt u askd, i was in doubt, wide eyes thinking wil gopi prepare food for the weding function. Cvs lost their brain long bk nd nw it seems they hv lost common sense too

I dint see this post...I asked the same thing in another post....so UNREALISTIC....The first Bahu of the house is sitting in kitchen preparing poori and sabji when there is a wedding...HUH,,,,

i do agree with the thought of caterers... but hun... who would be so jobless to do instant appointments... remember, all the marriage rituals are to take place within 3 days.... how can one engage caterer service for something they planned for the evening only 10-15 hrs before... lets say even a day before...

but i don't think cooking for 20 people is a tough job if everyone would have pitched in their bit...

for one person, yes its too much.... but Koki could have helped in Kitchen rather than stand guard at Garba

This is a good point you pointed out. Usually all the ladies are crowded in the kitchen area no matter the occasion. But for something as big as the daughter's sangeet only Gopi was made to do all the cooking?😲 Koki or Hetal never showed up in the kitchen to check if the preparations were apt or if the food was properly served. She could at least assist Gopi but no she never contributed to any activity regarding sangeet.

The strange thing is, I never saw any guests from the Modi's side😕 Sangeet is not only about the groom's side is it?
