At the coaching center, Abhi is teaching the kids, and his parents are with Usha, the matchmaker that had fixed Mahadevi's proposal earlier. She takes Abhi's parents aside, and says that they are such a well-known family, and a respected family. She tells them that their son is so well-studied, and is even educating more students, then how come they agreed for him to marry someone like Runjhun, who has no name, and isn't the right girl for Abhi.
Usha asks Abhi's parents if there was any dire circumstance that they agreed to such a marriage, but they say that it was because their wanted to marry Runjhun. Usha says that kids sometimes make impulsive decisions but the parents are the ones that should be responsible. She says that Runjhun must be really lucky if someone like her can get such a worthy and hardworking husband as Abhi. She says that there is doctor whose daughter is also a doctor, and would love to have Abhi as a son-in-law for his daughter. She says that someone like that is more matched to Abhi. She give Abhi's father 2-lakhs as shagun given to her, and tells him to consider the proposal. Abhi's parents look at each other, wondering what to do.
Runjhun still looks upset and Amma asks her what she is thinking about. Amma shows Runjhun a wedding sari that is hanging, and tells her to look at it. She says that when her mother was alive, she used to design saris like that for weddings. She says Runjhun will also wear something beautiful like her mother's designs and be wedded out of the house. She says that a girl weaves her dreams of marriage and that's what makes a wedding dress so beautiful, otherwise it has no meaning. She tells Runjhun that there are many things of her mother's like this that she has saved and kept carefully, that she can take with her for marriage.
Amma asks Runjhun what she is thinking about, when Runjhun doesn't respond. Runjhun says that yesterday when her grandmother asked her to close her eyes and picture her life partner, she kept seeing one face only. She couldn't tell who it was because there was a darkness surrounding him, but she saw someone. Amma tells her not to worry. It must have been Abhi. She tells her that once the darkness goes away she will see that it was meant to be Abhi. She then tells Runjhun that she has to go for her bath, as it's already late in the day. As she leaves Runjhun thinks that Amma is right. It's because she argued with Abhi, she's feeling at unrest.
Someone comes calling for Amma by the window, and Runjhun asks what the matter is. He says that Guddu and his men surrounded Abhi and took him up to the club. He says they looked really angry and looked like they were going to beat Abhi. Runjhun hurries out scared, and calls for Amma, but realizes she's in the bath. She calls for her uncles and aunts but neither are in the house. She thinks that she ahs to save Abhi because it is all her fault. She says if something happens to Abhi then she will not be able to forgive herself.
Runjhun runs across and sees Abhi's bike lying on the ground, and the man tells her that they took him up. She runs upstairs, and one of the ladies nearby asks why Runjhun ran to Guddu's place. Abhi comes and asks who dropped his bike. The guy who misled Runjhun says he doesn't know. Abhi picks his bike up and walks away.
Runjhun goes upstairs, and the room is dark, as she looks around the door behind her closes. Guddu's men are downstairs laughing and saying that now they have trapped Runjhun Mishra, and she is a goner for sure. The lady hears that, and runs to the Pandey household to inform them. She runs into Rajju but he only yells at her for crashing into him and doesn't listen. She runs inside and tries to find someone to tell. She calls for Amma, but a nearby worker informs her that Amma has gone for her bath. She wonders what to do.
Outside Rajju is still talking on the phone and yelling at someone that he knows the law too when Vishnu walks up to him and asks who is he discussing the law with. He says he knows the law better than Rajju, ans says he's going to go find his law book. The lady tries to tell Vishnu but he doesn't listen either. He calls Kalsanwali who is on the roof, and tells her that he needs his book, and she says she's spreading out the mattress to dry on the roof. Billo comes with Buntu carrying the comforters to spread and she tells him to place it by the bed, because he complains that carrying it is killing his back. Mittho says that the chillies are drying so she takes the comforter from Buntu and tells them why are they arguing and yelling at each other, and to go get Runjhun, who probably is enjoying somewhere. The lady comes and informs the aunts that Runjhun is in Guddu's club. She says she saw with her own eyes. The see Guddu's men laughing about Guddu and Runjhun being in the room, and are happy to hear that Guddu and Runjhun are locked up in a room.
Runjhun is in the room when the lights turn on and she sees Guddu Shukla sitting on a chair. She tries to run but Guddu beats her to the door, and steps in her way. He calls her PT Usha, saying that she can't run away. She tells him that he brought her here by tricking her. He tells her to keep quiet, and asks her if she's ever heard of a story where the prey escapes the lion's den. He latches the door close, and Runjhun asks why he closed the door. She yells at him and he tells her to shut up. He tells her that now she will get so see a new side of him.
Vishnu and Rajju are downstairs and the aunts with Buntu also come downstairs to discuss the matte about Runjhun. The lady who informed them earlier is standing there, and Mittho and Kalsanwali chase her away, and then when she is gone, Mittho says that if Abhi's father finds out then Runjhun's marriage will never happen. Buntu goes to inform Abhi's father.

Guddu reiterates Runjhun's question, and tells her that after her moving speech yesterday he had to come pay tributes to the great one, and puts his hand together and bows in front of her, Runjhun immediately moves back. She tells him that she is sorry about all that she said yesterday and to let her go. She tells him not to spoil her name.
He says how can he let her go. He says that yesterday she said such great words and now she's asking for forgiveness. He says that she was talking about her respect, her honor, and that Guddu had made her life a living hell. He says that he is heartless and indifferent so he will teach her the meaning of a living hell. He says that she told him that because he touched her belongings that they had become impure, and she had burned all those things.He tells her he will teach her the true meaning of being impure. He asks her if he touches her will she burn herself too, and complete a Johar Pratha - self-immolation. (The practice where a women would burn themselves to save themselves from humiliation)
Runjhun asks him to let her go. He responds that he will let her go, he will take her the Raja Harishchandra way of truth, but before that he will touch her, and that to within means.
