i think she did a decent job for her first time, but they should've found an actress who actually had dark skin, or atleast wheatish-medium. The reason why I am saying this is cuz Kesar is ridiculed for being dark skinned..even the previous kesar wasn't dark

yaara it was quite natiural we used to see kalpana as kjesar but i am telling you new kesar is very much convincing and jhas all the piotential to grow up as an actor give her sometime she will reach stars just wait patientkly if she will not then we will do our bombardment

She'll get better needs a bit of time! Expectations aren't high anyway for that character!

seriously...evn i miss KB like sumthing....but new gal alaika is also not bad...but KB was better....n i miss her soo much....wenevr i see the new gal i Imagine KB in place of her....i miss her soooo much...miss u so much KB!

She was quite good in her acting. Very similar to old Kesar. What seemed out of place was that she wasnt dark. Thats the whole reason behind Kesars misery right? Shaktiya hates Kesar coz she's dark. This Kesar looks the same as Arushi's skin color

I so Aalika's picture on Star Plus, and she is fair in real life, the Pratigya team are using make up all over her to make her look dark, yes Shaktia when he gave Kesar the milk said in the next life she must be born fair skinned and not dark. But Arushi is dark too, old Kesar, new Kesar and Arushi are all the same shade of darkness. Pratigya, Komal and Arushi/Pratigya's mother are fair, even Thakurain Sumitra is dark like the two Kesars and Arushi.

I think Shaktia was just using the skin colour as a cover of why he didn't love her, i think he was attracted to the modern type of girl, the one to stand up to him, i think he secretly admires Pratigya's guts to stand up to his family. Some people don't want an obedient wife, doormat, spit on her and she just takes it, the second wife Arushi spits on him and he doesn't mind...lol.

Even Thakhurain Sumitra and SS relationship, she will keep quiet when he tells her to shut up, but most of the time she is feisty (shows courage).
