The girls are picked up by Abhay dropping them off at theirs so they can put their bags away. From all the bags he'd seen Tracker sure knew how to buy a whole store. What did she do with all this anyway? He was sure an entire house could not store what she'd bought. Poor Angad he wasn't made of money yeah he felt sorry for him. True what they said love is blind. Abhay was curious with what Piya had purchased. She wasn't into materialistic things but he wanted her to treat herself occasianally. She hated the thought of him spending any money on her. Abhay saw Misha's smile. Lux better not spoil this moment for Misha. They were both dear to him. He loved them equally as his own family. From her mischievious grin he knew she was up to something.

AT KABIRS

Abhay goes in to set the table while Piya steps into the kitchen curious to see what Abhay's creations are like. She searched the fridge for desert. Just mascarpone cheese in there and chocolate blocks. No desert. She was disappointed. She was looking forward to some cake or ice cream. Abhay didn't add the garnish in the pot so Piya took it upon herself to help out. She got a knife out from the draw and washed it under the tap. She found the chopping board and started chopping away. Abhay came out of nowhere startling Piya making her accidently cut her index finger. Piya moved her finger away quickly as the blood dripped down her finger. Abhay's eyes began to darken at the sight of blood. Piya watched Abhay forgetting about the blood dripping down

Piya questioned Abhay-"Abhay your eyes! Are U squeamish?"

Abhay moved away from the kitchen-"Wash your finger under the tap Piya i'll just go look for a plaster." (Abhay turned around too fast for Piya to take a glimpse of Abhay whiz out of there real fast.)

Piya did as he asked. She was still thinking about Abhay's eyes. His eyes were so black. Piya stopped the bleeding by applying pressure on her finger. Abhay came back with the kit. His eyes were back to normal. Piya was beginning to think about Abhay's diaries. Something did not add up here. Abhimanyu and Abhay had the same kind of issues with opening themselves up to others. They were both hiding behind a mask. Abhay was mysterious when it came to coughing up the truth. She was still discovering Abhay's gifts which were similar to the Journals hero Abhimanyu. Could it be that Abhay and Abhimanyu were the same person. Hell that drawing she saw of Maithali was an uncanny. It resembled her. Abhay put a plaster on Piya's finger.

Abhay smiled-"There all patched up."

Piya glowered at Abhay-"Abhay what was all that before? Your eyes just went black. I saw it. U have a knack of disappearing. What's going on? U can trust me."

Abhay replied coolly-"It's nothing for U to worry about Piya. I've got so much to do. Go and sit with the others while i blend the tomato mix."

Piya moaned-"Are U trying to get rid of me? I'm not letting this go Abhay. I hate that U hide things from me. It's not on. We are supposed to be in a relationship here. Why can't we share stuff like a normal couple? The minute i have U alone i'm going to demand answers. I'll get them one way or the other. It's up to U to decide how i get them."

Abhay graoned-"Piya all"

Piya cut him short-"In good time..... To hell with that Abhay! I give a rats a** about your same lines. I know exactly who to get the answers from Abhay."

Abhay turned his attention to the soup mix-"I told U i'll give them to U Piya. Just leave me alone for now. Please."

Lexie came in with Kabir-"Are U two arguing already? Piya go sit down with Sid and Misha. We will set the table ok."

Kabir watched Piya go to the main room-"Trouble in Paradise?"

Abhay wasn't in the mood-"U could say that! Just take these (Plates and glasses) out."

Kabir consoled Abhay sympatheticly-"Piya will come around. Don't worry bro. I'll go take these."

Lexie pats Abhay's shoulders-"She suspects doesn't she? U got to tell her the truth. Piya deserves it. She's smart Abhay. Piya's already picked up on all your little habits. Sit her down and just reveal who U are. She's an old soul. This won't faze her."

Abhay blurted out-"Piya's been reading the journals hasn't she?"

Lexie nodded-"U found one missing didn't U?"

Abhay grumbled-"Yeah. She's resourceful i'll give Piya that. So nosy. Interfering in my life but i haven't exactly given her what she wanted. Answers. It's just finding the right words. "

Lexie empathically agrees-"I know! She can handle the truth."

Abhay takes the soup in the main room with Lexie pouring them into the bowls. While Lux pours the wine into glasses. Abhay takes a separate bowl placing it on his area. Sid and the others take a seat. Pari smears garlic butter on the baguettes toasting them lightly and placing them in the middle of the table.

Sid smells the aroma-"Hmmmmmmmm. Smells yummy."

Pari chips in-"Abhay made everything from scratch. Told U he's a man of many talents."

Piya glares at Abhay eyeballing him-"We can see that."

Abhay ignores Piya's eyes-"Please dig in. Make a toast to Sid. I'm not good with words so i say Misha can do the honours."

Misha grins as she gets out of her seat-"I always get the best job. Well big bro. Its good to have U back with people who actually know U. I'm sure U can see how much we've all taken U under our wings to make U feel welcome. Missed U loads bro and heres hoping to spending more time with U. Hopefully this time its with a fresh start. To Sid everyone."

They all raise their glasses for a toast drinking red wine. They all tuck in their soups. Abhay avoids the garlic bread. Piya notices his soup is cold and the colouring was different. As soon as they finished Piya takes Abhay's bowl and hers to the kitchen. She takes a little sip of his and spits it out. It tasted metallic like blood. Abhay came around from behind startling her again.

Piya yells at Abhay-"Stop sneaking up on me like that! Are U on a mission to give me an early death?"

Abhay asks Piya-"What are U doing Piya?"

Piya grimaces-"What do U think? I'm washing up. You've done all the hard work i thought i'd help out."

Abhay freezes up-"U took a sip didn't U?"

Piya challenges Abhay back-"So i did. What are U going to do about it?"

Abhay sulked-"Nothing. Piya i can explain."

Piya sarcastically says-"U can can U? Well we got all night tomorrow. Hey why not tonight at mine."

Pari steps in moving Piya away-"Piya let it go for now please. Its not the time for bickering. U both are hiding things from the other. Just let this night pass. Its important for Sid to ease in the gang."

Piya says-"Fine! I'm getting my answers Abhay. I've had it up to here with all this omission."

Abhay brings out the digestive biscuits and gets everyone to crush the biscuits into pieces. He melts the butter adding them into a bowl with everyones crushed biscuits mixing them in. He gets them all a metal cutter and they all add the mixture in flattening them out. Abhay puts them in the freezer to chill while he starts the mascarpone mix with chocolate and for the blokes strawberries. They put the mix in the metal cutters and it goes back in the fridge.

Sid was impressed-"Never did that before make my own desert."

Lux states-"Guess what Kabir wants to show U a trick."

Kabir gives Lux a blank expression-"I do?"

Lux adds forcefully-"Yes!"

Kabir grins mischievously-"Oh right my bad. Yeah. Right i'll get myself ready. Go sit round over the sofa."

Angad grins-"Is he playing a prank on one of us? I don't like it when he does that."

Tracker beams-"He can play pranks on me any day."

Lexie shoots Tracker with her eyes glaring at her-"Tracker U seriously need to find a new hobbie. Boys are not a hobbie."

Misha teases-"Someones burning up here!"

Piya eyes Misha to quit it indicating with her fingers-"So i wonder what Kabir's got up his sleeves."

Pari admits-"Can't wait! Here he comes."

Kabir grins-"So i have my red handkerchief. 5 different sized pins. I'm going to pierce my thumb with them through the handkerchief. Sounds painful right? Here we go!"

He shows the gang the Hanky which has nothing on it letting them feel it. Kabir gets some nails out of his pocket and lets them feel it to check if its real. Kabir wraps the handkerchief over his hands and gets his thumb up. He starts pinning a small pin, then another until the thick nail goes in. The girls squirm in the seat. Lux just bursts out laughing. Then kabir takes the pin out one by one and shows his hand to everyone dropping the carrot on the floor covering it with his feet. There was no blood. Kabir gets a round of applause.

Lexie knew no magic was involved-"How did U do that?"

Kabir grinned hard-"MAGIC!"

Angad got a thin pin and was about to prick himself till Abhay stopped him. Abhay to Angad-"Trust me U don't want to do that. It was an age old trick. Look under Kabir's feet."

Lexie moved Kabir over-"Why U cheat? Lux taught U that didn't he? I was so worried."

Kabir's smiled widened-"U were!"

Lexie smacked Kabir on the shoulders-"Of course i wasn't not that way. U could have hurt yourself. Lux is an idiot at the best of times but he had us going."

Kabir whacked Angad over the head-"Dufus had to spoil it didn't he? Angad man seriously what were U thinking. I'm not that thick to put a real nail through my thumb."

Pari giggled hard-"I should've known it was lux's doing. He did that same thing last year at the assembly in our final year at school. He won a prize for it too didn't U?"

Tracker fluttered her eye lashes at Lux-"Can U get a boy out of a hat for me?"

Lux joked-"Now even the great Lux can't perform that trick for U. I'm afraid no boys will want to appear from thin air from a hat. I can't materialize humans from nowhere."

Tracker is saddened by this-"Not fair. This isn't real magic. I saw on Tv the other day a magicion got a girl out of nowhere."

Lux finished-"Tv is a different ball game. I can't really perform magic Tracker. Its all just an illusion."

Lux and Kabir gave each other a high five-"Told U that would get everyone involved. The girls were really feeling it bro!"

Misha walks up to Lux-"So U know this whole concert thing we're going to? U haven't U know asked me anything important!"

Lux was surprised Misha was even talking to him in a collected calm manner. She was normally so brash-"Huh!"

Misha groaned-"U boys are useless! Useless i tell U."

Lux complained-"Hey. What did i do?"

Misha moaned angrily-"Nothing. Listen U stupid man. Do U even like girls? Or are U gay?"

Lux was getting mad-"Misha are U on something?"

Misha shouted at Lux-"U are such a guy!"

Pari stepped between the two warring pair-"What's going on here?"

Lux threw his hands in the air-"Search me! She's gone all loopy! Loco!"

Misha grunted at Lux-"U are so infuriating man. We are all going out and he still hasn't even said two words to me. What am i supposed to do throw myself at U? Thats not me U fool."

Pari got the hint-"Oh. Misha go calm down while i talk to my cousin Ok?"

Misha steps away moving to Sid and Piya discussing their upbringing.

Pari had a word with Lux-"Are U blind? She wanted U to ask her out U idiot! Did U not get why she was angry?"

Lux grumbled miserably-"How was i supposed to know she's always so unpredictable. One minute she's happy then the next she freaks. I don't want a slap U know. Have U seen her with other boys. She whips them hard. I don't know how to act with her half the time."

Pari gave a few words of wisdom to Lux trying to keep a straight face away from the others-"Do U really think that Misha isn't scared? Actually don't answer that Cuz! I already know the answer. U two are both dimwits U know. She likes U and U like her. Thats all thats to it. Ok. Boys are supposed to ask girls they like out! In this case she wants U to ask her out but U just didn't get her hints. She's scared too U know. Its all new territory for her. It's not like she goes around asking boys out like Tracker. While U Cuz are scared she'll reject U right?"

Lux nods his head like a big kid with his big brown eyes-"Uhuh! Well she could've just asked me to ask her."

Pari drew her hands to cover her face-"What am i going to do with this boy? She can't ask U to ask her out. Its your job. She gave U a hint. Fine i'll get your sister here maybe she can shed some light in that empty brain of yours."

Lux stopped Pari holding her hand-"Don't do that. Lexie will poke fun at me for the rest of my life."

Pari-"Then go and show us your mettle. Pluck up the courage and ask her out."

Lux looks for reassurance-"U sure thats what she wants. I mean i'm not good at this sort of stuff."

Pari ends it-"Neither is she!"

Lux moves over to Misha who is sat right between Piya and Sid. She wasn't making this easy. Misha glared at him real hard. Piya picked up on Pari's signal and moved away taking Sid with her.

Misha stops both Sid and Piya in their tracks-"Where are U both going?"

Piya answers-"We need to help Abhay Ok."

Misha gets up-"I'll go with U."

Piya shouts out-"No! U need to be here. We got this under control."

Sid agreed-"I'm hungry. U stay here while we get a bite to eat."

Misha wary of the duo's shifty actions-"This isn't so we'd be alone is it?"

Piya-"No! U are to suspicious Mish." She walks away quickly.

Lux asks Misha bluntly-"Misha i wanted to ask U if U would wanna hang out with me tomorrow night. We can ditch the others if U want that is."

Misha interrogated Lux a while-"Someone didn't put U up to this right. Like Pari maybe? U were quite slow off the mark."

Lux answers honestly-"She had to tell me otherwise i'd never get it. Misha i like U a lot and want U to be my rock chick. We'd be great together. What do U say? I know i'm not flash like Kabir or exactly sophisticated like Abhay but i'm me."

Misha teased Lux-"Will have to think about it. U did take a while to ask me so i'll have to return the favour. Only right!"

Lux's face fell but he picked himself up-"Ok i guess i deserved that. See U anyway there. At least i tried. I'm not going to stop pestering Uuntil U give in."

Misha smiled-"Fine it's a date but i expect U to do some grovelling. I can't believe how slow U are. Then again Abhay was even worse with Piya."

Lux grinned-"Phew i thought i'd have a tough ride."

Misha warned-"U aren't out of the woods yet!"

At the table they all finish their meal without Abhay who made an excuse to finish off on deserts. Which was delicious. Sid shook Abhay's hand for welcoming him and helping him get through his issues.

Sid relived-"Thanks for today. It was an eye opener. Wanna say Thanks to U all."

Lux, Pari, Lexie all-"Don't thank us yet! We have a long way to go yet"

Abhay beams-"No worries. If U have a problem we are only a call away."

Kabir smiles-"Thanks Abhay for everything. Loved the whole atmosphere. We should do this more often."

Abhay dropped the girls off making a getaway to his Mansion. Avoiding any uncomfortable questions. He wasn't ready yet. He knew Piya was going to flame grill him till he was well done but he'd cross that bridge when he got there.
