Karunya's choice of songs

I have seen a few posts expressing their concern about the choice of songs for the final gala. I personally feel that Karunya's choice is extremely good when it comes to Jhanak Jhanak. At a stage where every little matters, he chose to sing a classical number which is relatively a lot tougher than Sandeep's song. It shows his confidence and his versatality.

The Amitabh songs round - I think both of them could have chosen better songs.

The new song - I saw one of the posts which says Karunya sang that song so well that it brought tears to the celebrity judge Sunil Shetty's eyes. For those who have missed that post, here's where you can read about it.

All Karunya's fans, please don't worry. Don't lose faith in Karunya. He is an extremely talented and intelligent singer. Please continue to support him and vote for him as much as you can. Please get everyone you know to vote for him. He is the one who deserves to win.

hi lucky leo.u are right.i dont think anything wrong in those songs ,they are good.coming to jahank jhanak its very difficult song ,one has to have control on his voice to render it.i amcnfident abt karu.lets wish him the best of luck

jhanak jhanak is one of my all time fav....
its a very tough song 2 sing and going by the feedback he has sung it extremely well

jhanka jhanak is a classical's best. If KARUNYA attempted that song & did justice to it, then it should be applauded. I am sure a song like that would have definetly showed the true callibre of a great talent as KARUNYA.

Imagine any other contestant attempting such a great song, apart from AMEY!!!

I don't think any one else could do justice to that other than, AMEY & KARUNYA

I think after chakde and hum tum karus song selections have been exceptional.especially the ones which were never sung by any contestants so far.those hit the bulls eye due to its novelty and freshness and they energy with which he sang.mazaaa aa gaya! 😊

I agree with you luckyleo. I didn't fancy the Amitabh songs one bit. There were a wide range of Amitabh classics to choose from.... Abhiman, Alaap, Mili...very poor choices there.

I loved Karunya's pick of Jhanak jhanak though, it's a difficult classical composition. One needs to be immensely confident to make such a choice. If Karunya did justice to the song, hats off to him . 👏👏👏

I don't know why but both the Amitabh songs are average. Even if they wanted to choose a popular number over a melodious one, there are still a lot more good ones. But then, Karunya can turn over an ordinary song into an excellent one just by the way he sings it. So I am sure he would have done wonders even with that song.

Buck up buddy, you can't be low at a time like this. We have to put in all our good spirits, wishes, prayers and votes to take him to the title. I'm pretty confident Karunya would have done extremely well this time too. So please cheer up 👍🏼
