yea im under the same impression. and khanak was trying to give a reassuring smile. so it might be that he saw him.

I think he has seen khanak with suraj's pic or overheard her speaking too sunil.

Either he has seen Sunny sakshaat or he saw Khanak with Suraj ka pic and misinterpreted her intention or feelings...Coz he DID look upset in the precap !
