why is ranvijay always arriving late?

OK why is ranvijays always arriving late when something happens and the family gather around and he always has that smile on his face as if he knows the stalker or he himself is the stalker? let me make a example like when shekhar heard gunshots and were running and when they arrived where lali was with madhav, madhav was still there and they clock was 1:pm and when madhav got kidnapped and they ran outside ranvijay arrived late and told them that his watch reads 1p.m and the clock in the haveli is 1:20 pm how is that possible that somebody from outside could change the clock so fast???? so i am wondering could he do all this evil things and is he the stalker remember he hates lali?????? i am thinking yes!!!!!!! after he is evil person!!!!!!!! what do you think????? comments plz................

He is too busy drinking half of the time and chasing women.
I think he also only appears when his father wants to use him.
