continuing from where ramsha-afridi left, mohan and manjula have been avidly searching for astha's culprit and they feel it is someone in the house. Raj and the rest of the evil party decide to plot against Parul and bring in this phony baba who eventually plants seeds of doubt in manjula's brain against Parul and Parul coming under the influence of Raj's massi, blurts out to the baba that she "killed astha", and that it was her who sent astha out alone to plant tabiz. The story continues (drags, rather) for quite some time until one day, the truth of Parul act is brought infront of the whole family. Everyone starts to hate her and her punishment is to stay in the house and suffer everyone's wrath.
Through careful planning, Mohan and Manjula realise that Raj is behind all this (they still don't know about shikha or massi)
Meanwhile, Alpa realizes that Majula is hiding something and goes to the grandma's house and on her second trip eventually finds astha alive and well (astha doesn't see her because she is in a disguise ). Shock horror!!!! she gets upset, cries like they always do and eventually confronts Manjula and gives her one day to tell everyone the truth. (btw, she thinks Manjula did this out of jealousy of Parul and to get everyone to hate Parul...weird I know). Just before Alpa is about to burst Manjula's bubble in front of the whole family, Mohan signals her to be quite. She shuts up and mohan covers up.
Mohan and Manjula ask Alpha to be patient and that all will be revealed in good time (oh when oh when) . Alpha cries and complains but agrees and gives mohan and manjula 5 days to bring out the truth. Mohan and Manjula plan and manage to plant a camera inside Raj's room.
Manjula realises through eavesdropping and spying on Raj that he loves someone else but doesn't know who. On Raj's b'day, Raj plans to meet with shikha in his room late at night. Manjula finds out that the girl raj is meeting is coming to his room. Just as everything is going to be out, Raj conveniently puts his laptop right in front of the camera. Shikha however moves the laptop to put something on the table but alas, Manjula's husband comes and says "what are you doing". Manjula complains of a headache and goes to sleep. In the morning she realises that the camera recorded everything last night and just as she is about to find out who it was, Rajeshwari and Jalpa come in the room to find some rat. They also try to find the rat in Raj's room and in the process knock the camera out of its hiding place. Manjula gets worried that Raj will see the camera.
At nani's place, nani has sought the help of some guy who pretends to be a genie in order to help change astha's bad habits and encourage house work, (gosh send the girl to school).
