This week I did not feel like being a part of the result because I did not want to see a repeat of the Amey Date incident.

Amey was an all round performer and to see him voted out hurt us as judges, and was a huge loss to the show and the country.

However, thanks to much persuasion from Farah, Anu and Mini, I was convinced and decided to face the results.

Today I feel Karunya is the strongest contender for the Idol title and did not have the heart to see him walk off the stage.

The voting pattern of the public is very unpredictable, but fortunately the result of the country's votes matched the judges' choice this week.

Farah and I felt that Anuj deserved to be voted out this week. Personally, I hope Karunya become India's Agla Idol this year. He has never got a negative remark from the judges and is very popular among the public.

Wherever I go, I hear people screaming for him and telling me how much they love him. But then why was he in the bottom two this week? No one can explain.

I just hope that this love will translate to votes, so that he can take over from Abhijeet as the Indian Idol.
