sonu-the alchemist

he's paul coelho's 'Alchemist' ! much like that protagonist, sonu keeps diving headlong into unknown waters unheedful of whether it'll bring him bouquets or brickbats! well, cheers! he did a superb job today on radiocity fm. it was smooth, totally professional and very lively.i couldnt move for 2 hours that it lasted.

the first hour he was alone and divided it into segments interspersed with songs of his choice.
seg 1 'sonu sir ki paathshala'-he advised those with a stammering prob to read out things aloud to get over it.
seg 2 'kaash'-here he narrated the incident when he lost out on the 1942 love story melodies.
seg 3 'sonu ki sunahari yaadein'-the incident when he almost had an bike accident when he was staring at a PYT and which streamlined his thoughts into work
seg 4 -here he took a caller and answered the queries.

he played satrangi re, masti ki paathshala, ek ladki ko dekha, ye jawaani etc. he also did his mimicry act .

he's visiting U.S in august to propogate his album'spirit unfolding'😊

the second hour was a talk session with anu malik, to be continued next week.
he speaks very chaste hindi. unfortunately he didnt sing much live, nor did he take more than one caller.
awaiting the next week eagerly.
the guy is a Leo-the leader all right! i'm sure we'll soon have other singers following his footsteps on other fm channels..
