making money thats why she is still in Business. She is the BIGGEST TV serial producer. She is a smart business woman. As long as her TRP's are high enough, she will continue running the serials. You know, it does't affect her what ever you are saying on the FORUM.
We watch the serials for good experienced actors, and actress, acting skill not for the story. Story is like PUNJABI LASSI, you can add mpre water to increase the amount.
Don't watch them, my friends, if you don't like. She will definitely is not going to listen to you. She is actually going International.

I totally agree with what is said above... listen she is laughing all the way to the bank, while gathering all the accolades and awards...didn't anyone watch her at the Star pariwar awards What you and I say on this forum or in our Living rooms is meaningless as long as people don't turn off their TV sets.. only then will people notice...honestly i don't understand how the TRPS are calculated...doesn't make sense...i wish someone could explain it to us... the serials that we think people are enjoying seem to have low TRPS and the ones that seem the most ridiculous have high ones...beats me !!!!

guys chill! accept the fact. 😆 Even though we know her serials are all complete crap we watch them and thats why its got a good TRP.
Ekta herself mentioned in one of her interviews that even if she does try to do something different she'll end up watching it alone in her livng room so why blame her? If the audience watch crap like that and continue to watch it whats her fault? 😕 Maybe being the audience if we stop watching that crap then maybe she'll come up with something new. 😉

By the way I heard that a 1 pt trp accounts to 1 million viewers. Thats how the shows are rated. 😳

I agree ,she has lost it .But we still watch it and complain abt it every day .Why ? Because we have nothing better to do.

TRP's are controlled by a GROUP, who only survey may be 1) of the total population watch the television serials. You cannot reaaly judge the quality of the serial by trps because 3000 or 4000 odd people cannot speak for the whole population. But unfortunately, Channels get paid for their commercials based on the trp's so they care about them.

The best thing is, if you want to watch any show, watch it for good. What I mean by this is: Only learn the good things, dialogues, acting style or anything that apeal you. Beleive me, you will always find some good saying, somewhere in every show. JUST IGNORE THE CRAP IN THE STORY OR THE SHOW.
