Shamad in a store and asks Akaashi to buy makeup and cosmetics and Akaashi says that she doesn't need anything and that he has to get to work. Shamad tells her not to worry about money and that he has enough and so they set out to buy the products. Akaashi realizes that she doesn't want to spend all that money on these products and goes to the cheaper ones like the nail polishes. After they leave the shop, with Shamad carrying the bags, one of the salespeople come outside and ask Shamad what kind of a servant he is, he forgot his memsaab's bag inside.
Smriti in her new house looking for jobs in the newspaper and decides to try for one as a personal secretary. Purva calls her and tells her that Devikaa Mathur is coming over to meet all of them and tells Smriti to come there as well and she agrees.
Akaashi is resting in their bedroom with that face mask when Shamad comes in and sees all this makeup and thinks hmm what if I put all this on my face too? And Akaashi gets up right then and leaves the room but Shamad already has the face mask stuff in his hands. And he starts putting that stuff on his face too. *LOL* Rashmi comes inside right then and starts laughing anf Shamad says that he wants to look better but Rashmi tells him that he should wash his face and that he should remain who he is and not try and change.
At the Sanghvi house, everyone is sitting with Devika Mathur who looks at Smriti and says that she should start talking about Karan, every little thing from when they first met. And Smriti tells her everything that happened right from the beginning, how Karan mistreated her, physically abused her, Jigna's death, etc.
Devika says that she's seen karan and studied his case and seen many patients who, because of a childhood incident, they are unable to move on in life and become either crazy or criminals, and the solution to these people is not jail or institution, but love and care. And the issue will only get worse if they are surrounded by hatred, etc.
They go back to the jail, where Karan is tied to a chair and Purva and Mihir are watching everything through a television. The psychiatrist is talking to him, telling him she's his friend, and Karan keeps on saying that he wants to be freed. He gets up with his chair and starts acting violent and he's then given an injection to sedate him.
Shamad is at his work place and gets a fifteen minute break so he decides to study and takes his books out. He sees a mirror there and starts practicing how to introduce himself. All the other workers are laughing at him, who says that gawars and bandars can never change and learn English. Shamad then yells at all of them, asking if he does something good can't any of them bare to see it? And pushes them all off.
Purva and Mihir are talking to Devika who says that the only way for Karan to recover is by being among his own, being with the Sanghvi family, try to keep him in a place filed with happiness.
Precap: Rashmi and Akaashi talking about how Shamad leaves home early and gets back late.
