Pavitra Rishta
The show 'Pavitra Rishta' started with a story of strong emotional bonding of Archana (played by Ankita Lokhande) and her mother (played by Savita Prabhune) and the mother's search for a desirable suitor for her daughter. And then she gets married to Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) and her married life brings difficult circumstances for the couple. Supposedly a remake of a popular Tamil television serial, 'Thirumathi Selvam', Ekta Kapoor's show is devoid of glamour and grandeur, and brings somewhat authenticity to the middle class household. A special mention for Usha Nadkarni and her histrionics. The average TRP of the show has been 4.5 -5.
