Guys.. according to an article on the website which CANNOT BE NAMED on IF 😆 ..... Supriya ji is being considered to host the Indian Version of 'Wife Swap'. Even Supriya Pathak is one of the probables.....!!!

Sony TV is to air this desi version. in the New Year....and this an excerpt of Supriya ji's comment...

Wife Swap is being reworked in the Indian format and Sony has bagged the rights. In fact the title may also get Indianised and the show may now have a Hindi title. We will though change the format considering Indian sensibilities and celebrity housewives will be swapped with commoners. We have already approached celebrity spouses and are looking at nailing down the hosts. The probable names for the anchors are Supriya Pathak and Supriya Pilgaonkar. We are keen on either one of them and talks are on with both of them. Hopefully things will materialize by the end of this month."

Pilgaonkar told us that she had not been contacted by the channel

Wife Swap comes to India

The UK version of Wife Swap is set to hit Indian television. This show is all about swapping wives with completely polar lifestyles, but the Indian version is expected to swap celebrity spouses with common housewives.

And, yes, the title of the show too may change, considering 'wife swapping' is bound to scandalise people here.

Celebrity spouses have been approached and at the moment the channel is looking to sign on the hosts for the show. Two names doing the rounds are that of Supriya Pathak and Supriya Pilgaonkar. So who will it be? Let's wait and watch.
