i agree that it's vry rare that a educated woman fll in lov with a unrefiined guy like krishna.but if one realises that for someone u are the whole world, and that person can do nything for u..than u also starts respecting his love and his true feelings about u..........that wat human nature is..pratigya realise d deep n pure love of rkishan wen he don't cared about his own life t save pratigya.at that time she felt for d first time how much krihsna loves her..........well i personally don't belive in love stories at all and such type of lovers who can do nything for their partner don't exist in reality but still if such case happns than it whd a fooslishness to reject n ignore that person just bz he is not mathing to ur educational status......... coming to d arrange marriages u r talking about......well sometimes so called love marriages also don't work out for ppl............it's up to d person himself how he carries his relation, how much importance he give to his marital life........in this case i admire krishn...that he gives his marital life most important relation in his life..............Totally agree with you Anu.
As regards what Pragati has written, I have my share of arguments.- A program with a social message must show the problems - YESPratigya has shown all the problems as you stated.- The program must depict reality or atleast close to reality - NOThis program is FAR AWAY from any real situations - Educated women falling in love with illiterate men - rarely happens. We are all aware that even arranged marraiges where everything is matched - love doesn't happen. An educated woman marrying a married man out of anger - a man she despises and knows to be disgusting.- The program must show action/ take a stand - NOWhenever Pratigya has WON - its only bcause of Krishna. She does not survive day to day on her own power. This serial has taken no action of any significant value. They conveniently forget - like all other soaps.Frankly, it has become like any other masala serial working for TRP's.It would have been befitting if they had shown that Pratigya takes a stand against her in-laws - and separates out. They could have shown her fighting elections - and raising these very issues - they could have shown a war between SS and her - Krishna could have shown to help her study further and become an IAS/IPS officer - whatever - they should have shown that there is a significant fight and victory - then take each social issue and how Pratigya tackles it - so that it is highlighted - the problem and the solution - they could have shown dramatisations of real life stories of atrocities on women in India.......etc.etcBut no, they are stuck on the eternal LOVE STORY and the SAAS/BAHU angles.........pish posh....
